Plus my Mage Ama already was a spirit healer so I probably shouldn't have taken her along anyway, besides with the PC version you can just respec Morrigan to be a healer. 100% less preaching 100% more Morrigan say "T'is a good day!" and "You will learn to fear me!".

I honestly try to get into Morrigan's romance but the whole things is so blagh to me.

I disagree with that sentiment Morrigan never says kill the kitties. The only thing that is even remotely like that is the circle tower conversation but even then you can kind of talk her down. As for the Anvil I just told we can keep it if I can make her golem, that sorta changed the tone of the conversation. Other than that she's awesome, plus her gifts and dialogue add tons of approval that more than counteract any minor disagreements she has with the Warden along the way.

She does advocate leaving Redcliffe to burn which I do not agree with. While she is one hell of a tough broad, I can not agree with her since I am a Warrior of Justice at heart.

She has been raised by Flemeth and only had sporadic experiences of people other than Flemeth.

Leaving Redcliffe to burn is more of a pragmatic decision than an evil one, victory (at least as far as the game is concerned) is not assured and it doesn't really get the Warden any closer to gathering troops for the army. If the village burns to the ground and everyone dies the Warden can just come back and get the troop regardless, the Arling is more than just some stupid village. Besides it fits with her survial of the fittest philosophy which means a great deal to her.

I love Alistair.. I think he's a sweet character. But he's not the typical 'manly-man' or whatever and cries and has emotions so guys who aren't secure with themselves immediately attack that fact.

Of course there are guys and girls who simply don't like his character and that's fine, but just because a guy is 'weak', doesn't make him a bad character.

I love when Alistair talks about being a piglet eating out of a trough  :lol:

I agree I actually do like him, even though it might not have seemed like it earlier, it's just his romance reminds me of myself back in highschool when I was in the WORST relationship I've ever had in my entire life. So needless to say I don't join in singing his praises but I don't begrudge anyone for enjoying the story, after all why would you want less things to enjoy in life?

I like Alistair (although we normally end the game poorly since he hates having a father-in-law) but I typically avoid the romance. It's fine for my HNF but I always make him King and generally don't want to play through an entire game with a LI that is just going to end badly (although having a tragic romance thing with Tamlen/Gorim/Cullen/whoever is fine as it's just in the Origin and so it's only a few lines and not dozens of hours). The nice thing about the Leliana romance is that there is no pressing need for you two to break up for whatever reason.
