Which is why we never have to worry about Leliana become the divine because she's one to take vows seriously and she knows better to not make any she cannot keep.

Besides I can sooner see her starting a new branch of the Chantry then anything else.  Who knows perhaps she will.

I'm on my second playthrough of this game. I just defiled the ashes of Andraste, and killed Leliana. I feel like scum. That only means this is my type of game, real consequences for your actions. Tempted to load a previous save so she lives, but I wont do it.

I think if she was called to it, she would respond appropriately. While I doubt she would take the role in the next couple of years post DA2 (where she would be what, in her late 30s, early 40s?), but maybe later on when it's time to slow down from the adventuring she would settle into such a role.

It might even be fitting, as she would be transitioning from her past life as "Leliana" to her new one as "Divine Maria XI" (or something like that).

...... I think some are forgetting that Leliana's core beliefs in the Maker contrast with every other Sister and Brother who have given their lives to the gospel of Andraste.

As I said before I really don’t think Leliana will become the next divine, after reading her codex entry for Dragon age 2 and seeing the ending a few times, I think they have something planed for her I’m just not sure what.

Plus there are probably plenty of candidates that are more devoted to the chantry then she. Most divines are much older then late 20s-40s Most are in their 50s and serve out their position until death. Leliana would have to become a revered mother first.

How would everyone feel if they brought back Leliana to be a companion for DA3... like she joined the new hero in hopes it would lead her to finding the Warden?

Yeah same with Bleetman if she was romancible I would go ape ****. But her personal quest would be searching for the warden then huzzah! Cogdale would totally be waiting

IDK, Leliana as an LI would be an interesting dynamic (albeit potentially overused). Would she return to the Warden or stick with her new love?

If Leliana was brought back as a companion In Dragon age 3, yes I would like that. I would like it even more if she actually found the warden or at the very least found out what happen to the warden. This the Warden just disappeared bit doesn’t sit well with me.

I wouldn't mind if she was an LI as long as she wasn't one if you imported a save where the Warden romanced her.

I would love to play as the new hero and be rejected by her because she's still wants the Warden.

And yeah they need to give an explanation of how the Warden got separated from Leli... at least I can figure that my Hawke is sailing the seas with Isabela...

I'd love that actually. If done right, her search for the Warden in DA3 could be marvelous. Romance would be a complete no no for me however.

I think Bioware is up for the task since they appearently did not consider Bethany/Carver to be a waste of resources. As such, I believe the devs could easily create additional dialogue/cutscenes/whatnot for a romanced Leli. Since Bioware went as far as to revive Leliana and give her an important role, something like this could be very likely in fact.

Which brings up a new idea although... borked already with some people's playthoughs but! Perhaps Hawke's sibling (whoever survived) could be a LI if the character you play as is new. It could add to their character. And people could take on the challenge of raising carver's feelings so hes not always doom and gloom.

It's hard to imagine what manner of foul creature would willingly romance Carver. He makes me wish mages could actually turn people into toads.

Depends on it.

If she's a LI, I'm out.
If she's a LI, but only if you didn't romance her with the Warden, then I'm fine with it.

It'd be hard to implement since on a technical level you're more or less inserting 2 companions. You kinda got away with it in DA2 since they were more or less part time characters - if you combined both Bethany and Carver's amount of interaction you'd pretty much have a full companion.

An LI as a part time companion would probably lead to an undeveloped romance.

But yeah, there is some pretty good potential.

So guys what i want to know is which import should i use because i romanced Leliana with my Warden Male Mage and i have a Witch Hunt save an Awakening save and a Origins save so which one do i use to get Leliana to recognized there relationship?

Everything else is bugged... there's mods to fix it on pc... but... If you're using anything else or you don't want to use the mod go with the Origins save.

Well, you can always remove that mod when the update comes out...

Wouldn't hurt to use it, right?

I'm now using my WH save which now recognizes my Leliana romance now that I have the mod installed. Heck, I even replaced the Silverite Mine fix link in my signature with that mod!
