If you are male, well. It doesn't seem much of a stretch to demand a little time to consider. You have something Morrigan wants, she's offering something you might want, and neither of you have anyone else who can substitute for the other. She leaves if you flat out refuse, sure, but if she storms off to a 'maybe', how does that get her what she wants?

Couldnt you just get Alistair to do it instead then?SPARTAN 089-Gary wrote...

Bah you know what I hated how you don't get to talk to her at all the night when the Dark Ritual takes place other then the typical stuff.
God I wanted to have a conversation with her about it, Like if she approved or not, I didn't like doing it behind her back. I mean she tells us who she really is and spills her guts out to us. And what do we do? We secretly have sex with Morrigan. I know Morrigan says that Leliana would allow us to do so but still a heart felt conversation on what she thought would've been a nice touch.
Well for us Male Wardens who romanced her anyways. The Final battle gate kiss mod only works for Zevran it seems I was hoping that Leliana would do it as well but nothing ever happened. When you leave her at the gate it seems appropriate for a last kiss.

Does that mean male wardens are only supposed to have one chance to start a romance with Leliana?

But he only comments on things that the characters have doubts about. For all we know, Leliana had no doubts about her duty as Seeker.Bleachrude wrote...
Personally I don't think Leliana could've been a Seeker from the beginning otherwise the guardian would've nailed her on it...Remember, said guardian had no problem figuring out Zevran's backstory.
But that's just me playing Devil's Advocate. I don't think she was a Seeker during Origins either.

If she was made a seeker that early I wonder what happened to her relationship with the warden in the years before the warden goes missing. In act 3 of DA2 she can describe a noble warden as "a good king/queen" so they probably haven't disappeared by then (and I doubt they disappear sooner for romancing her), which leaves about six years unaccounted for (depending on how long after the end of DA2 Varric meets Cassandra). I'd like to think my warden followed her about being a spy/assassin (whatever seekers actually do), but who knows..

But every epilogue says that the Warden leaves Vigil's Keep. I know, "hersay and rumor", but reguardless of what happened in Origins, after Awakening, The Warden always leaves.Wulfram wrote...
The implication I got from the whole conversation is that she hasn't seen the Warden in some time - since she's been in Orlais working for the Divine and the Warden has presumably been at Vigil's Keep - so sadness is to be expected.
More importantly, Teagan says that The Warden is due back in Denerim at the end of the King Alistair quest, so it seems that the Warden should be able to move about easier.

Also just for fun-
Leliana= The Reincarnation of Andraste?
The theory is not completely without merit.
Aside from the fact that she does believe the Maker spoke to her, they both rose to power after a blight and enjoy song.
It would explain her coming back to life if the warden kills her.

It puts a new spin on a lot of things, especially her line about the Andraste statue in Leliana's Song.
Makes her look like a total egotist.

Nah because Maferath wasn't a gift from the Maker because Andraste was married to him before her Maker love affair.GSSAGE7 wrote...
Wait, that doesn't have to mean that the Warden is Maferath, does it?

The warden was after and therefor a "gift"

So then we won't have to worry about the wardens being pushed into a position where they have to betray Leliana? I guess that means we can put down the pitchforks.Lenimph wrote...

I loved the very last scene in the game, for reasons all you in this thread should easily guess
She's the one character that actually looks better in DA2, and I can't believe she was the last person you saw before the game ends...
Someday, I am definitely going to play DAO again (well, I have started on that a while back but stopped a few hours in), this time on the PC with an appearance mod to make Leliana look in the Sacred Ashes trailer and romance her and this time, her Warden will live and it will be a happy ending for them (yes, I chose the ultimate sacrifice for my first and 'canon' warden). Someday, as for now, I have way too big a backlog of games...

I personally believe the fact that she gets two cameos instead of one, and looks better than the other cameos is proof that Bioware likes her more than the other companions.ZeRoToXiN wrote...

Too bad I saw references to Leliana while the game was installing so I spent most of the game waiting for her to show up. Saw it install a zone called "Zevran Cave" too, which gave that one away nicely.

Golems has nothing to be imported, the default for Witch Hunt seems to be "Hero Stayed".
Awakening, though, has a few imports that may not be default, like if you stayed to protect Amarenthine. I dislike having to chose between Leliana and Awakening.
