This piece kinda is doing it so far. It grabbed GSSAGE7's interests. And like Whacka said on the previous page she has Plot armor. The title of the fan fiction has her in it. So she won't die but that doesn't mean she is impervious to heart break and near death moments.
If I were to just put a link to the drawing most will ignore it, I've tested this. Many people need something visual to get them interested and not words. I'm guilty of this. I wanted to get you guys interested and see the amazing work of SweetCandy's hands. So I chose the best way to do that. To show the image itself on the thread instead of saying "Oh hey click on this link and see your favorite Dragon Age love interest half dead!" I really don't think people would want to click that... other then Leliana haters who have the tendency to watch this thread just to laugh at us.

Is there a reason you have to post a drawing of Leliana half dead? Context of the fanfic or not... tis still disturbing... you could've linked.

Half dead? She's not half dead. Clearly, she tripped over a mabari whilst absent mindedly humming a tune to herself and stumbled into a cart full of tomatoes.

And your right spartan I wouldn't want to click it, because I wouldn't want to see it, and I wish I didn't.

Mabari do not like being tripped over.

ABL focuses on reality (whatever it is in the Dragon Age Universe) including the gore of getting ones arms chopped off or even broken off by an Ogre. There are only a few scenes in DAO that show a good realistic death. One of them being Cailan's.
I can't stand the fake stories where yeah they get into some fights but the characters are neither physically or emotionally scarred from battle. And they go on their merry way and have their perfect romance. In ABL that is definitely not the case. Being tripped up into murdering 4 or 6 templar initiates when you know good and well that Leliana is a devout Andrastian kinda shakes up a relationship. Along with the fact Leliana is a jealous type. (We kinda get the hint of that in Leliana's Song DLC) so my warden has to reassure her that he isn't eyeing anyone.
In my fan fiction I'm trying to do as Stan Lee had done with Spiderman. Make the characters relatable to the reader in their own ways.
I'm not defending my art at all. In fact I'm even more giddy that the piece is getting all different types of receptions I want that, I want that surge of emotion, disgust, interest in my pieces.
I've advertised before this, but I still have a couple character slots open for my fan fiction. Your warden (would be themselves just not the Hero of Ferelden.) could be in the group. It would add more lines of dialogue between all the characters even more stories I could write. Right now I'm in Helena Amell's (SweetCandyRain's character) story arch where she tells her story and a couple of other moments for her.
But yeah I'm all for cameos, and even companions for the group if you're interested people. "Orlesian Constellations" isn't just Cogdale, Leliana, Helena and Anders in the room. Its the entire group I just didn't want the hassle of everyone in one drawing just yet.

I must admit, writing stuff like that ain't easy.
It does make things more realistic. But it also limits the encounters and enemies in a sense.
Either way, I find thinking / creating a title for what I wrote the hardest part.

MEH! I'm totally going to imagine that when I leave Beth behind while going to the Deep Roads, I leave Isabela in charge of "taking care" of her.

Just found out that Leliana's Codex page in DA2 is bugged, too.
I don't know if this was posted earlier, but I don't feel like searching for it. So I'll just post it.
She has four different Codex pages. One for if you didn't romance her, one for if you did, one for if you never recruited her and one for if you killed her.
No matter the relationship status, the most likely Codex page you get is the one that doesn't mention anything of a romance. Not that it mentions much to begin with, but I always found it strange that the codex didn't mention anything about the romance.
In case some of you want to know, here's the codex entry that should appear when you romanced her in DAO:
"If imported from a save where the Warden romanced Leliana:
Leliana is a legendary adventuress in Thedas, a heroine of the Fifth Blight and reportedly the Hero of Ferelden's lover. Some stories say she yet remains at the Hero of Ferelden's side, but other tales from Val Royeaux say she'd been spotted in the company of Divine Justinia. Rumors within the Chantry claim the Divine has a plan of her own—one that involves Leliana as her personal agent—but few know what such a plan might entail. Given that Leliana is a master storyteller, it's not impossible that these rumors are of her own creation. The truth remains to be seen."
Well, that, and I'm really curious about what the heck happened between Leliana and my Warden.
I mean, really.
"I knew the Hero of Ferelden."?
"Disappeared, just like the Warden."?
Seriously.

Also, would anyone mind if I, like, played my Wii games for a few months until all these import bugs in DA2 are cleared out? The OCD is making me annoyed more and more.

That's what it's meant to be?! I remember when I first read her codex I thought "Well that's a little impersonal but alright, I guess it's factually true.." But now.. Once again a small piece of missing text stopped me enjoying her romance as much as I otherwise would've (this and the Awakening letter).Whacka wrote...

And the codex for her "dead import" is amusing. It really fuels the theory of snorting Andraste's ashes...

Finding it a bit odd the urn of sacred ashes is mentioned in her death slide. I mean, if you defile the ashes, I was under the impression the temple was never found and/or demolished by an irate high dragon.

I assumed her sounding sad was because she'd been away working for the divine and hadn't seen the warden for a while, since her alternate lines seem to say the king/queen warden hasn't disappeared by that time and I'm guessing their disappearance is independant of romancing Leliana. Then again, could be that she had to break up with the warden to work for the divine. Considering what she says during the battle of Denerim and post-coronation I don't know why she'd choose that life, but it's about six and a half years between then and meeting her in act 3, so who knows?GSSAGE7 wrote...

I'm sure we'll know eventually, I can't imagine why they'd write it, have it be the last thing mentioned in DA2, then just leave it hanging, but the waiting!
