Thanks! =] I spent a lot more time on him, mainly trying to make him not look too effeminate. As I said, I don't usually draw men and I'm really rusty at drawing in general.

The one thing I love about vanilla Leliana is the fact that she has these beautifully shaped eyebrows--A lot of the Leliana facemorphs emulate them. I tried to make them arch like hers.

That's so awesome! *mansquee*

is it me, or does Sims Medieval look more realistic than 3 graphics-wise? Still stylized but less so than the previous game. I'm also with bleetman on the outfit. It rocks!

It does have a more realistic look to it.

It's actually really awesome... so many arrpeegee decisions. B)http://cloud.steampo...35694C3D72C325/

Well River has good angry eyebrows. Hell, he seems more pissed than Leliana.

I realized that part of the issue was that Leliana's mouth was open super wide. It made her look kind of excited about something. O.o I hope this is better. She looks... Worried, I think.

Edit: I tweaked her eyebrows. And made River's Mustache of Truthiness even truthier.

That's true.

Got a little angry before. My berserk button had been pressed, so I was a bit pissed. Don't take it personal.

And I guess there's a mistake on my par then. I always thought that these IRS mods were much more than just dialogue fixes. I thought they enhanced some parts of the romance.

In my eyes, the word "knew" implies / implied more than what is / was said at that moment.

Then again, my berserk button had been pressed that day. So don't take everything serious.

On the plus side, she uses present tense for "is dear to my heart", so it's not all bad...

Not yet, anyway.

I believe that is the one thing they kept from The Blur AlleyKatze design of Leliana. Comparing -

AlleyKatze's Eyebrows always arch. Sometimes in her photos when she is giving her "intense" stare you can have a difficult time if shes angry or just... staring. I find it mesmerizing but what do I know *pinky to lips*

I drew River Cousland and Leliana again. It actually didn't take me that long and I'm fairly happy with how it turned out. I'll probably make some minor changes, and yes, I still need to practice drawing males. It's odd. I generally net better results when I take the pencil and just lay into it rather than when I try to focus on lines. Her other leg is somewhere behind him and I couldn't figure out where to put his right leg so I just had him prop it up on something. It's a cheat, I know, and I might change it at some point.

I swear that River isn't as much of a smarmy as he looks! He's totally
copping a feel of Leliana's ass but he is not a smarmy perv!

River's appearance is based on Clark Gable's, though I can never actually get it right. XD His jaw always comes out much longer than Clark's.

And I think she'd rock the pixie cut. Ever since Marjolaine said something about Leliana cutting her hair short like a boy's I decided that she SHOULD have her hair like a boy's.

Before I knew that Leliana's appearance was based on AlleyKatze's, I actually imagined her as looking a lot like...

Leliana needs a little help with her predicament.

Codex: how to Get Rid of Dumb BoysGrey Wardens

Still very much a work-in-progress. This time Alistair makes an appearance. Or he will when I shade him in. I actually like River better here than I do in my previous one though I have to fix his claw hand. I'm so bad at hands. And his triqutra is crooked!

Just a thought, but I'd try keeping attention on Leliana if you're posting the pictures in this thread, Otherwise, post it in the Community Creations section, since it seems a lot more attention is put into your Warden.

Well it was always going to end badly, the warden being a warden and all, if not darkspawn or an assassin from any number of people then the taint; slowly going mad like Asturian, I don't know about life expectancy in DA but it sounds like Leliana has decades on the warden.

That said, being the romantic she is I'd always pictured Leliana joining the warden on their calling, or at least wanting to, not sure how my warden would react to that. But there's a good chance I don't have to worry about it anymore though, I guess.

Or you know Avernus has a cure...

Old conversation is old.

Plus no one has to go to the calling. Tis just recommended. Honestly taking Leliana to the calling is a stupid idea. The darkspawn would probably take her away to turn her into a broodmother... unless your warden planned on making Leliana a warden before going.

Where ever the Warden and Hawke is I'm sure it will be explained in DA3... in fact I wouldn't be surprised if finding the Warden and Hawke was a main focal point of the story, This is what I hope for really... Leliana could join in as a companion... and so could another companion from DA2... I would hope a sibling.

Big stuff is in store for Leliana and I'm actually excited to see it, even if it leads to a tragic ending for her and my Warden. (As long as they're still in a relationship to the end...)

I'm sure Leliana would be thrilled by your using blood magic to stay alive. And ruling that out, if the choices are the calling or become a ghoul, I can see why the calling is recommended. While I'd agree taking her is a pretty bad idea, I could still see her wanting to go.

And yes, it's an old topic, but so is Leliana, what has there actually been to talk about since Leliana's Song? Her appearances in DA2 were interesting, even exciting if they foreshadow her return, but they don't really make two months worth of conversation.

The Zevran thread is still going, and all he did was kill some crows, and go back to antiva to start his war. You know, exactly what the epilogue said he'd do.
Morrigan hasn't had anything happen since Witch Hunt, and that thread is still going strong.
Don't even get me started on the Alistair thread...

All with zero redundancy? I don't follow those threads but I'm sure they repeat old topics, I mean they have to, don't they? Unless you go into fanfics/art then there's only a finite number of things to talk about.

Edit: I guess speculation is a practically infinite topic but it's usually based on another topic.

Sometimes people make new Origins mods.
And yes, sometimes people do post fanfics and fanart

I wouldn't be surprised.

Well, unless you killed Avernus that is...

I just can't kill grampa's. :(

And if the Wardens benefit from his research, then I guess it's ok. Though I always say that he should stop doing evil research.
Might even let him do evil research on my next playthrough...

Indeed.

I'd rather have Leliana alone than my Warden taking her into the Deep Roads, with the risk of having to undergo the process of becoming a brood mother.

Just the thought... no... just... no...

I always let him live, although he has to do work ethicly. Hell, maybe him and The Archeticht together to do some stuff, like limiting the taint spread, or increasing the chance of sucess for the Joining.
Also, keep in mind that the letter you get in Dark Epiphany shows that he found SOMETHING important. Maybe he really DID find a cure.

I hope his important discovery wasn't the draught, I downed that whole. A pretty reckless thing to do, on reflection, but since you can't return it with the letter..

You're lucky it wasn't another taint enhancer. Imagine what that would do to someone who isn't a Warden.

Taint smaint. Two attribute points!

I doubt he'd find a way to outright cure the taint, but it should be reasonably possible for Avernus to study-buddy with the Architect and devise a means for the Warden to retain their sanity and remove the need to get themselves killed. The effects of the Calling seem to be precisely what the Architect was trying to cut the darkspawn off from, after all.

Failing that, screw the Calling. My Warden isn't going to end up rotting in some tunnel somewhere, no sir. She'll go punch the Divine in full view of a dozen templars, or something. Tragedy makes for good comedy!

I just haven't shaded her yet. The whole thing's not done but when it is, she'll be the centerpoint. ^ ^

I just saw Leliana at the end of DA2. Did I miss something? -.- I didn't get this scene:

*grumble* Is it part of the Exiled Prince or something?

Who says you need to CURE the taint? Something I've figured out after reading The Calling is this, are you still a Grey Warden, and not just a regular person, who happens to be a badass?
What is Avernus managed to find a way to keep the taint from spreading inside the Warden. What if the taint isn't a death sentence anymore? What if a Grey Warden's resistance stays for the rest of their life? That's what I'm suggesting should be one of his bigger priorities, if not the biggest one.

Exactly. It's one of Sebastian's Companion quests.
