Exactly. It's one of Sebastian's Companion quests.

Of course BioWare would make me pay to get the Leliana content. I've refused to get that DLC on principle because I don't want to pay extra for a companion you can't even romance properly. The most romantic thing Hawke can get from this tool is a promise for a "chaste marriage"--or a shoulder touch and a confession that he wishes things were different.

Just a thought, but I'd try keeping
attention on Leliana if you're posting the pictures in this thread,
Otherwise, post it in the Community Creations section, since it seems a
lot more attention is put into your Warden.

I just haven't shaded her yet. The whole thing's not done but when it is, she'll be the centerpoint. ^ ^

And yes, it's an old topic, but so is Leliana, what has there actually been to talk about since Leliana's Song? Her appearances in DA2 were interesting, even exciting if they foreshadow her return, but they don't really make two months worth of conversation.

I just saw Leliana at the end of DA2. Did I miss something? -.- I didn't get this scene:

*grumble* Is it part of the Exiled Prince or something?

No it's a separate in game quest... it'll be in your "letters"

The sad thing is, that's the best cameo. If you do things right, she makes a comment on how The Warden is "dear to [her] heart", and a (currently bugged) codex entry that also comments on how the Hero of Fereldan is her Lover.

I doubt he'd find a way to outright cure the taint...

I always like to assume that the Wilds flowers might play a small role in "curing" the taint.

I mean, if mabari's can be cured, then why can't a human or elf or dwarf be cured?

I hope his important discovery wasn't the draught, I downed that whole. A pretty reckless thing to do, on reflection, but since you can't return it with the letter..

Drinking the draught and gain +2 attribute points...

Heavy risk...

It certainly worked on me, she's the only reason I bought it when I did. I would've bought it eventually anyway but before I heard about her cameo I wasn't in any particular rush to download it. It was weeks before I downloaded the Stone Prisoner DLC and that came free with the game.

Having played it a few times I'd say her two minute cameo's also the best part, but that's a different topic..

Just Leliana.

"My... Fruit?"

Yes, Leliana, your grapefruits. They exist in a fourth dimension beyond your shirt. Now you're going to tell me where you got that push-up bra.

Sweet baby Jesus, breasts are hard to draw. You'd be surprised that this is so, given that so many people draw them.

Still a work-in-progress, clearly, but I am quite pleased with how it's coming along. Sadly, I may not be able to finish it until tomorrow. Oh, this was my first crack at drawing lips! Usually I just draw people with line mouths.

As opposed to her armor? She doesn't wear it all the time. She's just chillaxin' here, I guess. Have you seen some of the DA2 armor for girls? Lots of pants outfits. I may add some more detail to clothing, though.

Some details may be a bit important. I swear, I'm pretty sure my sister has that same outfit.

Your sister has pants and shirts? I certainly hope so. XD

I kind of posed in front of the mirror a bajillion times and drew an overly stylized version of what I saw.

Any suggestions about what I should add? I was going to give her a dagger strapped to her thigh and possibly a bracer on her visible arm.

Try basing it on the clothing (noble or otherwise) from Origins.

I don't want to mess around with her torso too much. Boobs make things extremely tricky and I'm not yet confident enough in my abilities as an artist to negotiate frills and details around them. Unfortunately, I think her shirt's going to stay pretty plain this time. As I get better at this whole drawing thing, I'll experiment with that kind of stuff more. I only started drawing less than a week ago. Haven't done it since middle school, and even then they were only doodles.

I'm seriously considering trying a cartooning workshop this summer.

To be more medievalish just add stitches on the seems of the shirt. Maybe a corset like laces going up the middle. You rarely did see a perfect looking T-shirt back in medieval times. Either there was poorly woven clothing with large stitching and sowing. or Really fancy noble clothing with specific designs in them. Which usually had bulbous part (shoulders, forearms, neck collar) to make them seem more important.

This helps to - Armor and Names

Nice. Maybe I'l try to tackle her armor next time.

But yeah. Her boobs were a pain to draw and I'm not going to mess around with her torso more than I already have. You'd think boobs would be easy since they're really just lumps but if you don't shade them perfectly then they look uneven, if you get one tiny thing wrong then they look bloody uneven. Getting her headlights to a point where they looked passably even was the second hardest part. The first was that hand but it was amazing. After doing it over and over and over and over again and cursing hands for being so hard to draw it.... Just... Suddenly.... Clicked! I got up and cheered. No joke. Hands make sense to me now.

Have you seen some of the modern-ish DA2 armor? That's why I figure she gets away with the T-shirt. XD

I assumed that was a Free Marches thing, which is why her DA2 outfit looked like it did, but even that wasn't a simple blank shirt.

She threw a vest over it iirc. *shrug* I don't know. I'm too nervous to mess around with it overmuch; I'd rather just try drawing something that laces up on my next attempt rather than possibly screw this one up.

After three playthroughs of DA2, each with a different Origins import (Witch Hunt, then Awakening, then Origins), I FINALLY got Leliana's cameo to acknowledge the romance.
Totally worth it.

I certainly hope it was. Sounds like the approval imports will (or at least should) be fixed by the patch in certification. Hope it fixes her codex too.

Not sure that'll be new game worthy on it's own since the fixer mod sorts the cameo out (PC users have it just so easy..), but it'll be nice if we need to replay for the next DLC. Plus console users will finally get their Awakening/WH decisions and Leliana. Here's to hoping.

It says nothing good that my first thought is "What is that under Sten's eye?"
Like Leliana's armor though.

That's better than mine; "Why's Leliana a man?!"

I thought she stood to the Warden's right in that scene... had to do a triple take before it made sense.
