I need to try that. All I know is that asking Leliana to not tell anyone that the Warden slept with Zevran ends the relationship.

So I was playing through DA2 again last night, and I got to the Faith quest with Sister Nightingale/Leliana. I know that when you ask her if she's the Leliana, she'll give a one-liner about the Grey Warden. I know I've heard something along the lines of "Perhaps you've heard the songs about the time we spent together" and there's a "They're very dear to my heart" or whatever, but last night she said something I hadn't heard yet.

My canon warden married Anora and became King-Consort of Ferelden. When Leliana spoke of him she actually said her normal dialogue, but in place of the mention of her songs or being dear to her, she just said "He's a good king."

Haha, now, I marked out everytime someone in the game made reference to my choices in DA:O&A, like Varric talking about King Bhelen's Family Reunions, and that the woman in the Ferelden Imports Store, when asked about the Grey Warden in town, says something like "The only Ferelden Grey Warden I know of, is on the throne." So for someone who didn't romance Leliana, I still got a huge amount of satisfaction with her appearance, here. Especially because I'm apparently a good king, and haven't been killed off by Anora, yet.

Thats really awesome. I know what you mean about getting a buzz hearing of the Warden from Origins. I think in some ways they did too good a job with DAO because they got us to get so very attached to our Wardens lol. Its hard not to to miss him/her in the second game, but hearing of them and getting a bit of continuity is always fun.

As a female Warden I romanced Leli and then i think i seleted the option to just go travel with her. Thats why the 2nd game is a little unsatisfying for me. They left it far too ambiguous as to what heppened to them as a couple. Grr.

There's still hope for finding out what happened between them, I don't know why they'd have that "just like the warden" line in DA2 and go nowhere with it..

Unless it was just an excuse to scrape the waden off of her so she'd be free for DA2. Damn, that would suck..


I'm having to resist Leliana on my current DAO run, I need a Morrigan romance to import and my last two attempts either ended up with Leliana or just never finished the game. I've found the trick this time is to initiate the romance before Lothering, that seems to have helped.

Yeah i must admit that line about the Warden's disappearance gives me a glimmer of hope too. It could be nice if in the next installment we could maybe choose to either play Hawke or the Warden and have the Leli romance imported in tact. Then whoever we don't chose to be could fall in as a companion or something. But who knows, anything could happen at this point. As long as Leli lives on and we get to continue to hear that awesome voice of hers im fairly content

Its getting to the point where i think the only way may be to just not enter that tavern in Lothering. Problem is she kicks too much Darkspawn ass not to have her in my battles. Damn her.

Its so easy managing the approvals with Morrigan and Leliana as a woman because at +100 Morrigan just loves the Warden like a sister so theres never any competition. I've found its more complicated as a guy lol. And as both characters are ones i use constantly in my party i try keep the approval as high as poss.

On my first playthrough, I romanced Morrigan first. Don't know why. Perhaps a bit of a first come, first served policy I guess...
Then again, my first playthrough was a giant mess. 

It was on my second playthrough where I was halfway romancing Morrigan, when I found out I could romance Leliana too. So I went for her instead, getting in a love triangle and then dumping Morrigan. First love triangle and first Leliana romance.

Ever since, I couldn't resist.

But that sounds like a good tactic, beginning it before Lothering. I may have to try that.

Well, since both Morrigan and Leliana value different things, you'll have a dang hard time keeping the approval of both at a steady level - provided you don't use gifts, of course.

Though I don't like Wynne, I think she's a better option to have in my party than Morrigan. Simply because I can't roleplay a character.
Same end results, same looks, same this, same that...

Well it helped me. My first character accidentally wound up in a triangle with Morrigan and Leliana.. I didn't like it. Although I still can't help flirting with Leliana, some of those dialogues have just become habits. Not to mention Leliana doesn't disapprove of everything I do like Morrigan does, so I still gain approval with her more easily.

At least you can check the DA wikia to see the codex. Not the same, I know, but it's probably the best we've got.

 Poor Leliana thread, shedding it's earthly body and such... 

The mod looks really good, by the way. Personally I prefer to keep characters' default appearances, I wouldn't want to change their looks any more than I'd want to change their personalities (except for the times when you can change their personalities, I mean..), but it still looks really good.
