What armor is she wearing in your screencaps?

Yoo hoo.

It's an import of a Dragon Age 2 armour.

This thread may be dead, but my love for Leli is not... nor is Bethany's.

Just hope she doesn't go the 1001 Arabian Nights route.

If I have to I'll have conversations with myself about Leliana haha.

I'm sure if you could come up with a topic others would join in, no need to talk with yourself.. Unless that's what you really want to do.

The odds of Leliana starring in another DLC seem unlikely (and yes, she was the star of Exiled Prince!), so who knows when we'll have some new material..

Really? I thought Sebastian was the star, since he's, you know An Exiled Prince.

Meh, he's an occasional quest giver and the guy who storms off at the end of the game to me. And if you define a star as "a person who is preeminent in a particular field" I think she's more star-y than Sebastian, considering he's an exiled prince and all.

Who is this Sebastian? *innocent whistle*

I'm actually starting to miss Leliana something fierce. Might have to redo my canon run of Origins just so I can see and romance her again. Ah, so many things to do, so little time...

I just started another DAO run. At least there aren't any deadlines unlike my last few times going through DAO.

I'm going through my 8th run through I believe as Cogdale once again! Don't know why XD This time with alot of Ports of DA2 armor and items to make it seem like actual relativity between the two games. :D

I'm seriously thinking about adding armor sets, but the problem is is that I don't have enough characters to fit those sets. As it is, each character already goes through at least 2 sets (initial and final). ...although I guess I could have them change armor sets with each major location...

I liked Leliana, I just wish her storytelling skills were a bit better; I guess it would have cost more to get the VA to add all the lines, but her stories were more summary than flowery prose.

Most of her stories are equivalent to our fairy tales. Which aren't that specific with themselves either. You don't see Hanzel and Grettel going to other structures and or houses before reaching the Candy house where the Witch lived. Her stories were told quite well off the top of her head. Especially Aveline and or Flemeth's story.

Probably for the same reason I am. You keep finding one little thing that you want to change, like having Leli stay unhardened.

I know, it's just that when I think Bard (or Minstrel, really) I think more Iliad than fairy tale.

Alright, this will be spoilerish for the people who haven't finished DA2 yet, so read at your own caution.

Now we do not know what happened to the Warden; all we know s/he's "gone". Come DA3, if the Warden is present and actually gets to meet Leliana what do you imagine will happen between the two of them?

I'm just wondering 'cause my Ophelia is a tad bit hostile to the Chantry and seeing her love working as the Divine's left hand would not be a pleasant surprise.

My Dana would actually be thrilled to see her lover becoming a super spy for the Divine (she has no beef with the Chantry) and would then demand some private spying time for herself... ;)

My Tabris would be rather annoyed, having a dislike of the Chantry what with the whole "not calling the Templar / Guards for the premarriage rape" thing.

My Cousland would be extremely happy for her, no doubt. Y'know, if she wasn't dead, body and soul.

My less Chantry enthusiastic characters are presumably less keen on the idea, to varying degrees depending on their own animosity. Until they tell me otherwise, I'm sticking with "Mahariel took off because of this".

Arcturus would ask her to relinquish her service to the Chantry as an institution and serve under his son the OGB who would bring order to this mad continent. If she says no, Arcturus would regrettably consider her an enemy.

Basically, all the characters who hardened her would be impressed by her courage and skill, and those who didn't would respect her conviction (plus the skill & courage thing). I imagine my current main (a Mahariel who didn't harden her) would support it completely (for the reasons above) so long as religion didn't become an issue between them, since she's basically an agnostic herself.

I can't believe that anyone is not considering the drama that can't come with a Chantry-hostile Warden and a Divine-serving Leliana meeting a few years later. And the possible future reconciliation.

Arcturus would ask her to relinquish her service to the Chantry as an institution and serve under his son the OGB who would bring order to this mad continent. If she says no, Arcturus would regrettably consider her an enemy.

That's utterly ruthless, cold and Machiavellian. If I were a prince, i'd hire you. Job description though includes the growing of a goatee.

Honestly though? I would probably ask the same: Quit playing games with the Chantry and lets bring an age of enlightenment to Thedas.

Actually, given what we learned from DA2, is anyone else beginning to think that Leliana was just a Chantry spy the entire time?

She was watching Loghain's men, but when your party walked in she saw a more serious threat / opportunity (especially if your PC is a mage) and latched onto that? I mean, she's rather heretical (a kind Maker? What nonsense) to be accepted back into the fold by the Divine.
