She was watching Loghain's men, but when your party walked in she saw a more serious threat / opportunity (especially if your PC is a mage) and latched onto that? I mean, she's rather heretical (a kind Maker? What nonsense) to be accepted back into the fold by the Divine.

We've already discussed this a few times and NO, I don't think she was a spy the entire time.

She was totally a spy because the chantry totally knew the blight was going to happen and totally would rather just send Leliana to end the blight with the Warden because they totally knew, instead of actually warning Orlais and sending troops.

I totally agree yo.

By the way, did you meant to say that she was working for the Chantry as part of the Seekers already or that she was sent to spy on the Warden? If it's the first, then as I said in the posts in that page, I could see it being the case, as in she was associated with them, but not fully joined (but again, without any plans of spying on the warden or anything crazy like that).

If the darkspawn take Fereldan, well, that just means Orlais can reconquer Fereldan without a fuss once the Blight is destroyed and the darkspawn retreat. Orlais doesn't care at all if Fereldan people are killed and you're kidding yourself if you think the upper echelon of the Chantry cares either.

 Leliana was in Lothering for more then 3 years.... 
Again if the blight was such general knowledge the Orlesian wardens would have known and helped

No, they would have left Fereldan to its destruction. They wouldn't have risked everything when Fereldan was in such a horrible state; its armies were fighting itself, not the darkspawn. They couldn't safely bring in the Orlesian troops without starting another conflict. They'd have stuck with the Orlesian troops and waited for Fereldan to burn.

Keep in mind that the Fifth Blight was the shortest blight ever. The first one was ~200 years. The second one was ~90 years. The third was 15 or so years. I'm not sure about the length of the fourth.

The point is, the Wardens would not have jumped into a situation where half of the main army was destroyed, the other half fighting the private armies of nobles and their allies in turmoil. Don't forget that Grey Wardens are concerned with destroying the blight; if that means abandoning to Fereldan to its fate in order to have a better chance at that, so be it.

You're right about Dana, who just like me, hates any sort of formal attire and would prefer to go au naturale. I mean it's so bloody uncomfortable!!!
