what surprises me the most is that the chicks (yes, cause almost of them were chicks) there didn't even thought for a second that this was just a joke, i mean it clearly is, i'm sure they did it for nothing else than a few lulz and to see what would happen among the fans of the characters, i'm sure, cause that's what i would do, like, i would be like "let's see what happens when we do THIS".
They did simply for trolling, and man they did they succeeded, i mean the thought annoys me, i'll admit, but i mean, some were even SWEARING OFF to the game...
i don't want to offense anybody, but if a person swears off to a game because of something like THAT, then that person shouldn't play ANY game.... EVER.

Eh, while I agree that the reactions back then were pretty... well.... eh.... yeah... I'm at a loss for words actually... some real funny sh!t in there. 

Anyway, what I was gonna say is that cme is actually a pretty cool person and she even worked on a Leliana romance mod (that was sadly cancelled, but her Rendevouz at the Tavern does include a Leli option).  So don't judge her for whatever comments she made back then. She's actually not bothered by that sort of thing anymore.

I think we all have silly moments like that.

I love formal wear myself, Makes me feel.... expensive I think the word is. Or 007 thanks to that guy any tux is something like a costume. I myself like wearing 1 color schemed tuxedos. Either All white or all black. Put hands in pant pockets and I have it made. XD I kid.

When it comes to trolling, its not the troll I usually get agitated by (since I already see trolls as pathetic 12 year olds, all of them.) its the people who actually react to their trolling. Just like with my art I always have trolls who insult it, Usually saying they could do better when all they have to show in their art is a picture of a traced drawing of ironman in blue ink in their notebook.

I get agitated by people who still fall for trolls, I always think humankind isn't that gullible but everytime a troll is around it seems like my hope for us is diminished.

On topic of Leliana, there are 3 images on DeviantART of amazing cosplay of Leliana and Morrigan... doing stuff that their characters probably wouldn't do to each other but the model for Leliana is perfect (Mind you she is no AlleyKatze) and its the first cosplay I've seen where the hair is the Vanilla game's Orange and not the Sacred Ashes' Blood red hair (that I prefer.)

AAAAND I feel like I need to draw Leliana, Need to. I've been on a Spider-man binge recently but I need to draw some Leliana, give me an idea and I'll get right on it!!! Well... appropriate enough to post on the thread though. *cough*

Just because it's something you would do doesn't mean it's something a game designer would do.

There was much raging and fan tears in Morrigan, Alistair and Leliana threads.

Morrigan following Alistair purely for the lolz still makes me laugh. Her death scene far less so..

I remember we also saw some controversy following Leliana's Song. But that was, imo, one the best DA:O DLCs, if not the best.

ha, i left this place for way too long (i was too busy playing Mass Effect 2:P)

And yes, i agree, i think Leliana's Song is the DLC(especially the music, which was AMAZING)

I'm not judging her, all i'm saying is that she was the most....umm.... notable:lol:.
I'm sure that she was just in a bad moment, what i'm REALLY questioning is to enter a bad moment for something like that.

I know, i'm simply disagreeing with it. You don't put stuff in the games you make to troll people, if just because pissing them off (especially when done for no other reason than to ****** them off) can have impact on the sales and in the long run, the bottom line. The stuff that does get put in winds up there because someone in charge thought it made sense, or was good idea.

Yes, but i wouldn't classify this as something that could affect sales, the premise of the DLC alone should have take care of that, this is just ONE little in game joke.
But either way, non of us really know, maybe they did because that would really happen if the warden wasn't there, maybe they only did for the lulz, we don't know, but i'm sticking to my theory, as i truly believe that's what happened.

I need help! I think I may have glitched the romance? Gave her gifts tried to pick the right dialogue...she's in the love part of the bar....did her side quest, said she loves me.....yet no love scene? Why is that?

Do you have the option to proposition her? A "Let's go to bed" option at camp? Pretty sure I got this before, it may be another effect of raising her approval too quickly that she won't make the first move, I'm not sure. It's a better conversation when she initiates it, but if you're just interested in ticking variables (there's a fun euphemism) then you might be able to do that yourself. Otherwise, you might need to lower her approval to get her to suggest it.

Ok I just got the love scene... I guess her approval was 89 or something? I gave her a gift, got a +1 went back to camp and finally got the love scene.....

So to effectively romance Leliana her bar must be completely in the white and try not to get the buggy dialogue? That...stinks
