LOL @ Gaider saying "Leliana isn't a Seeker at all. Why would you think she is?"

Gee, I wonder why?

pfff, it's not like she was wearing their armor or something.

ejem...

anyway, if this is true, i wonder why bw even put her in that armor, i mean they knew we were going to assume she was a seeker(though i had some doubts, since, being an agent of the divine, she is above the Seekers, in, well, for lack of a better word, Rank)

if this isn't true.... then Gaider REALLY likes to **** with people(which he does, but usually not like this)

Maybe Leliana was wearing the same armor as the seeker’s because she was traveling and working with them and didn’t want stand out, or she could or just been wearing it for protection. That would be my guess anyway.

Because dating a seeker is so sexy?

I'm sure it is. :D

I thought about it and it's possible she was wearing to try and blend in amongst the seekers. She is a master at doing that after all.

EDIT: Oh look, I was ninja'd.

I'd like to see a clarification as to what she is and what her relation to the Seekers is, then.

Imma guess that's probably addressed in the new book.

New to this thread, new to this site - hullo, I'm Fooxie. As I was perusing the last few pages of this thread to catch myself up (sort of), I read this and felt like replying to it.

I'm curious of how others in this thread first perceived Leli in the game.

I actually played DAO not long after it came out on my better half's 360. Right off that bat, I had planned to pair my Tabris with that cute guy with the spiky hair. Then I got Leliana as a companion and the first words out of my mouth were - "I can romance her, right? With my girl Tabris?" I never got that far, though, because the 360 red-ring'd and I had to wait like... a year to get my own 360 because none of my computers could handle the PC version, being that I'm not a PC gamer and don't get my computers spec'd to run games.

Since then, I've created over twenty characters and at least half have romanced Leliana. :P

I also write DA fanfiction, but eh... I'm having a bit of trouble with my plotlines getting tangled and my plotbunnies breeding like, well, rabbits.

Damn, your 360 Is an 4sshole.

as for the question, well, i actually didn't recruited her the first, because i didn't found her.
but after that i found you could recruit her in Lothering, by then it was already destroyed, so i deleted my save file and started over(not to mention, i killed Zevran and Wynne).

Her voice drived me mad(in a good way), and i was interested on whether she really saw a vision or she was just crazy(i was almost leaning towards crazy, but i recruited her anyway cause i'm not one of those Pvssies who for some reason was scared of her. i swear, those pvssies haven't seen anything scary in their lives) but since what i always do in RPGs is go through story first before really starting to dig into everything, i didn't really talked to her much and went we with an easy solution and romanced Morrigan.

Afterwards, her Background story gripped me, and then, she started singing.

and that was the moment where i almost lost my jaw.

She has been my main Romance for almost all of my wardens(and my main Warden of course) since then.

So after a bit of stewing about how they really lead us on about the seeker thing (I mean honestly, how many times did it come up before?), isn't it a good thing? I'd think it means that, should the Warden turn up again, Leliana's not tied to the Chantry. Good news?

Whether she'd leave anyway even though her position isn't official (I'm guessing it isn't) is another question, but in theory there's nothing stopping her. It also makes it all the more interesting that Cassandra seems to answer to Leliana at the end of DA2 (she defers to her, anyway), makes me wonder how much authority her position as "right hand of the Divine" gives her.

And body type 1, RagingCyclone? For shame. How's a person even expected to fight with arms like that?

So... Seeing as there is no Christmas Related Leli picture, and how everybody was doing the hole Christmas Hat thing, i decided to Jump in the PS bandwagon.

it took me days to find this damn thing and cost an eyeball.

But that's not the point, the point is after fighting with this thing for hours, i finally got something.

i know this is really late, and New Year's eve is tomorrow, but come'on, someone had to do it.

So, if anything, Leliana wishes you all a happy new year and a late Merry Christmas!

I'm surprised no one's been commenting on Leli's appearance in Asunder.

Spoilers:

Well she shows up at the start, during the Divine's lil party. She also shows up during Wynne's little interview with the Divine, but doesn't do anything. More importantly, she pulls out a longbow and chainmail, and fights with the mages against the Templars. So at the very least, either they're retconning what was viewed as anti-mage sentiments in the Faith quest, she's changed her mind in the years since Kirkwall's Chantry went "boom", or the Divine simply "tolerated" the Revolutionists specifically.

So Mage Wardens don't have to worry about that awkward argument with Leliana.

To be honest I was looking forward to seeing how that conflict might work out, how she'd reconcile working for/with the chantry and her relationship with a mage warden. That's that little bit of drama gone then, ah well.

...

Damn, some people are never happy, are they?

Me Neither, but, as all of you know, people will go crazy over the stupidiest ****.

Wasn't Ashley Critizied as some sort of Religious Zealot for saying that she believes in God in ONE conversation? WTF.

I still hear animosity in the "tolerated" line, but in hindsight that could be about a few things, probably the revolutionists specifically.

So she's not anti-mage.

Just racist.

Well the revolutionists (or is it revolutionists?) are going about things in a rather radical way, so it's not like I blame her or the Divine for "tolerating" them.

And... racist?

i don't really feel that, i just watched a video about that scene and, it seems more like she was saying in sort of a manner of speaking, as if she was using that word instead of choosing more blunt(and possibly accurate).

"We have.... 'Tolerated '  them."

That's it seems to me anyway.

and what do you mean by Racist?
