It's a fantastic design, a modder has come close using the duster mesh to create something similar but to make it really look like that would require brand new meshes. It's so iconic and cool though I imagine once the modding community grows someone will make that armor, it just requires somebody very talented.

yes I have Leliana wearing that mod, it matches her the best
I am waiting very patiently for a talented modder to make armor almost perfect like this. I still love how she recites the Chant of Light in the trailer I just found that awesome I was "Ohh I like this chick." but I also loved Morrigan in the trailer too, the trailer just had a girl power vibe to it while the Warden it seemed like he was standing around being bossy...

Well the Warden was in command so I imagine in a world without shortwave radios that yelling would be the best way to command your team. In general though Leliana was the coolest character in the trailer, followed by Morrigan, Sten was really lame the most you heard of him was The Warden yelling his name .

Oh Sten made up for that with his hottness in the trailer I so wish they used that look with him in the game and made him romancable

"Fear me creature!" I was like "Okay I'm getting this game already!" I have to be honest when I saw her character video I kinda thought she was going to be "Ohh lala pretty colors!" So I was a bit nervous with her in the game at first...

Its a modded face. Its version 11(original hair) from the DA: redesign mod if you want it. This is currently my background.

You can still have reason to kill Vaughan: just ask Soris what happened to him then tell Vaughan that Soris mentioned him and watch tbe racist rant begin. 'Sometimes elves think that they're people-*stab*'

I hate the ending in Dragon Age, I have had to reload 5 times no less!

Thats not even counting the bugs, like Alistair talking when he is not there, Darkspawn grunts taking a minute to die after being shot, and when Talking about the DR it made me do it even though i said no!



Plus the gate kiss mod did not work so I am really losing it right now. ONe thing ME2 has over dragon age is how few bugs there are. It is seriously driving me crazy how buggy the ending is!

I will go back to my Redcliffe save I guess but Bioware seriously dropped the ball on the ending.

Gate kiss worked for me. Did you use the DA:O mod manager for the override file? That's what I did, and it worked perfectly.


Also, it's a BioWare game. Its going to have bugs. Often game breaking bugs. I get a lot more game breaking bugs in ME2 than I got crashes in DA.

I am at the fight in the Alienage in god damnit Caladrius is one tough MOFO, I think me and Leliana hit him with 4 AoS and he was still going strong.

I know what you mean, ogres, spiders, darkspawn all fine. But frikkin tivinter crossbowmen...

Also, has anyone noticed that leliana has a higher threat priority than Alistair? Every combat results in enemies running past Alistair and myself and heading straight for her, if they can get past me that is.

You can't go wrong really. I haven't done any cross romances yet. I might do an elf and alistair eventually.

My elves can never get past Leliana's stupid 'let me tell you about how awesome the elves in Orlais that are treated as fetishized pets who live in Alienages that are so overly crowded and with walls so high that the sun can't be seen for most of the day' conversation she gives an elf enough to be at all attracted to her so I vote human mage.

That's a bit extreme, she just tells you about her experiences of elves, being pretty much raised by an Orlesian noble that's probably all she knows of elves. Maybe she put it a bit clumsily but you'd have to be pretty thin-skinned to be offended by it, but I always found the Dalish a bit touchy I suppose.

I always think mage and Leliana is better, simply because a mage has nobody in the whole world (if you side with Jowan) and Leliana doesn't really have anyone either so at least in the end they both have each other. Dalish tend to be all emo crying about their land and crap, and very xenophobic.

Well she does in  Warden's Keep, she'll say that Avernus has dabbled in "Magics forbidden by the Maker and should not be trusted." However if you side with him and let him continue his research she doesn't say anything or disapprove. A warden who is a Blood Mage is usually ignored by everyone, Wynne is supposed to confront the Warden but it was cut out. My mage was a Spirit Healer so I didn't really concern myself with her views on Blood Magic since my mage wasn't a blood mage.

Can the gate kiss run if all the files are put into one folder, or do the smaller items have to be put directly into the override folder. It is annoying that some mods run and others do not run at all. Or do some run only if you start a new charachter after you install them?

I don't have the mod so I don't know, a lot work if you just place their contents in the override folder but some are scripted to run upon module activation so unless that conditional is met nothing will happen. Generally cutscene mods just go in the override folder along with a modified .dlg file that activates new scenes but I don't know exactly how that works. I assume it requires the file or character to be modified to not have been met before, If you change a character's equipment load out but you've already met them they won't have the new stuff, I think a similar thing can happen with .dlg files but I'm not 100% sure.

Just create a folder called "Gate kiss" or something in the Bioware/Dragon Age/packages/core/override folder and extract all the files into "Gate kiss" folder.

The mod should work fine after that.

While I tried to get it to work nothing happened, even though I just pasted them all in without a folder. Its so annoying that only about half the mods I have gotten seem to work.

Did you use a program that allows you to extract the files, like WinRAR?
