So steam is having an EA week. Hopefully they'll put awakening up on sale. I am most eager to play it.

I'm still raging over the fact that I paid more for Awakening than I did for DAO... the first time I completed it I felt like a massive tool.

Thanks for that... I got DAO cheap on sale for the holidays for like $30 and Awakening was $40 new.  Le sigh.  I'm thinking I won't be preordering the next release

That's what I meant...  she observed before she said anything...  She could have said this at your first meeting.. "So you are one of those child stealing elves that carry off women!"

Once again Sarah this sounds nothing like an actual racist comment, she is simply unaware of what a Dalish is actually like. Only super PC lefties can actually get offended by her comments, which I dont think you are. We all put our feet in our mouth at one time or another, and here is when Leliana does it.

I like the darker red hair than the light orange they use in vanilla. Also her vanilla skin looks kind of weird to me I don't know just looks odd. So I usually mod her with the Sacred Ashes mod though most of the mods for her make her look to anime-girlish for my liking, so I guess I'm too picky to be pleased.



She is a greatly written character bad girl gone good girl with the bad girl skills what is not to like about that might be a pretty generic character, but Bioware certainly did it well.

Once again Sarah this sounds nothing like an actual racist comment, she is simply unaware of what a Dalish is actually like. I don't believe I was trying to restart the 'is Leliana racist' discussion. I was simply trying to explain that with the way she phrased it isn't surprising that all the initial responses are hostile until she backtracks and explains what she means.

Edit: And please do not tell me whether or not I'm 'allowed' to be offended by what she says. You get offended at things I don't think are worth getting upset about, after all, and I don't try to tell you it shouldn't bother you.

Ok.. I am going to start a new game with a male noble Warrior and spec him to play as NPC and use Leli as my main control character... I did this on xbox... and had a lot of fun with it.

My next Human Noble is going to be a 2H named Doraleous, and he will have associates rather than Companions. In fact I will roleplay what Doraleous would do.

Shale is funny, but she stinks in the late game. Since you have to raise her constitution to equip high tier crystals whereas you raise strength for Alistair which increases his damage.

Icky Elf is Icky

They have the jealousy confrontation like everyone else but not random conversation where they make snippy remarks at each other. Leliana will also be very upset very early on if you sleep with Zevran but have a romance over 50 with her, she'll confront you and demand to know what you and Zevran are doing in your tent. If you lie to her she'll find out later and break-up with you and be really mad, and if you tell her the truth she'll be very upset.

Zeleen, the Leliana in ToP is the best one I've seen yet. She looks gorgeous! Too bad I can't have mods.
