Everybody should get the forced deathblow mod, it makes the fights way more fun. If you have watched 300 it pretty much turns any mob fight into that.

The animations will also slow you down if you are a dual wielder(read: lower DPS). It's still awesome though, I love deathblows...

I love the deathblows mod! It makes being melee character so much more satisfying.

I really  hope in DA2 they improve some of the animations and overall fluidity of the combat. Even back in KOTOR1 the combat seemed more fluid than in DAO, what wih blocking and parrying and all that.

On a side note, which Origin do you not see working RP wise with Leliana. THe only one that I can see having a really hard time is the Dwarf Noble. So which origin do you see as best going along with Leliana, and least likely romance wise?

After meeting her in Denerim and after Leliana saying "Maybe she was always lying about who she was" I got the impression that she'd been manipulating her all along. It's just too bad that you already know you don't get to kill Marjolaine after escaping. Also, all these killings with swords, are these the "non-violent means" she told us about?

Marjorlane does say that Leliana can easily kill 4 or 5 normal men. But we cant judge a few seconds in a trailer about what else is coming in THE DLC.

Well in the game Leliana clearly still has fond memories and affection for Marjolaine even if she's dead, I guess it seems from the trailer that Marjolaine never reciprocated those feelings and Leliana never really meant anything to her as a person. Which sort of makes her an even sadder figure, since this person she cared so deeply about and loved never felt anything remotely similar towards her. I couldn't imagine anything more depressing than finding out someone you loved and trusted never felt the same way and never viewed you as anything more than an object to be used and discarded.

Edit: Also it makes Leliana sad.

I always play with humans and I never intend to do a romance with any other race.

Just the thought of Leliana(or Morrigan for that matter) having sex with a dwarf makes me sick to my stomach. No offence dwarven fans, that's how I feel.

I'm not sure any origin have any inherent problems with her, it depends how you play your character, but I guess there's the dalish / human conflict, and (personally) I can't RP any romances as a dwarf. I always thought HN got on best with her, both of them being essentially homeless and family-less (I know Fergus didn't die but you don't know that).

TBH I always had the impression that is what her relationship with Marj was like.  I mean their dialogue during the encounter in DAO hints at it pretty strongly imo.

I've said and maintain that Mage works the best In my mind. Dalish is impossible, too much hostility on the part of a Dalish Elf to ever really fall for any of the romance options.

Yeah, it isn't too surprising to me. After all, it is Leliana who told us about Marjolaine and of course she has a coloured view of the relationship she had with Marjolaine. Then again we still don't know what's in the DLC in terms of RP, and we've only seen a few snippets of dialogue.

So far though i'm liking what i've seen. I can't wait to get my hands on Leli- I mean, on the DLC!

Im still shocked they've chosen to expand on such an interesting story rather than do something easier like the darkspawn chronicles.
