I wish I'd done similar, I just got back from making a complete disaster of my last A-level exam becasue I was too busy sleeping (and browsing on here...) to revise. Ah well, hope your work went better than mine.Giggles_Manically wrote...
Sorry I drank about 2 or three liters of choclate milk and stayed up until 3 AM to finish my paper so my humor is very childish today. That facepalm was directed at myself more than you though, since I actually got a laugh from reading into it.
Best to just move on right now.

In the DLC we see her using daggers/swords instead of a bow. I wonder if she learned to use it in Ferelden?
Maybe not she always admired Marjorlane's bow so she could have learned about it in Orlasis instead from Marjorlane. hehe sounds like something that goes good on toast.
Something interseting to see:
The Longbow was popular in England since sieges and fortified cities were less common, and battles happened on fields most of the time. Also most people could at least hunt with one so it provided the state a large base to recruit archers from. Ferelden being based off of England I can see why the Longbow is so popular and why so many Ferelden troops or people use it in game. ie Ostagar those were Longbows and variants of it used by the Royal Army.
The Crossbow however was much more popular in France since cities, sieges, and soldiers in heavy plate were common place. The state however had to build them and maintain forces or hire mercenaries who could use them for all their battles since they usually involved castles or sieges. Orlasis being based off of France, makes it very apparent why Orlesian or Foreign Mercs thay you see almost always have crossbows. I would rather have a crossbow over a long bow when facing a Chevalier.
Another little detail that you can catch in the game, points to bioware I guess.

There is no cold war between Alistair and Leliana threads. There are several posters in the Alistair thread who are irate with Leliana in the game for a variety of reasons, but there's no ire that I've seen towards Leliana fans. There are plenty of Leliana fans who post in the Alistair thread so don't even worry about who, what, where. It's all irrelevant. =p
And if you don't want that thread to turn icy cold, you don't mention the name of the unspeakable one. They won't rip you apart like a pack of wild dogs for liking the unspeakable one although after the Darkspawn Chronicles was released they very well might have. It's best to not mention her there, for everyone's sake.

I tried to write an honest and indepth response to her and a few others from the Cult Of Alistair, but when it devolved into name calling and exclamation marks, and questions about my manliness things got ugly. Needless to say the experience that only 15 years as an older brother can bring is actualy helpful.

There was a discussion about Leliana? I'm kinda glad I missed it. I'm one of the Alistairians who LOVE Leliana.Giggles_Manically wrote...

Well at least someone had fun cause they were angry as hell for weeks afterwards, there can only be one person for Alistair and that's their respective characters. Though to be honest hate predates and postdates the DSC, it just caused it to get really, really bad.

Double archer run is going really good now, two bards with Song of Courage is getting good damage numbers.

So far it is pretty fun but I really miss having my sheild right now. What level does it take for 2 Handing to really come into its own for the rest of you?

What armor mod would you guys suggest getting for a 2 Hander, either in the game or mods?

Warden Commander armor is a good start since you can scale the material it's made of, as for 2 Handed Combat it gets better once you get the Beserker specialization. If you want it to be a bit more interesting get the Better Two-Handed Talents mod over at the nexus www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php. Two Hand talents aren't the best around, when you compare it to a Dual-Wield Beserker since DW talents are either awesome or great while some of the Two-Handed talents are really crap like mighty blow and shattering blows.

2h is my favorite playstyle actually. It really gets going around level 10 when you can pick up Sunder Armor and 2h Sweep, though even before then it can put out very respectable damage. Sunder Arms is your bread and butter damage technique since it hits twice (Sunder Armor does as well), and with skill weaving (using special attacks between auto attack animations) you can maintain relatively high dps right out of the gates.Giggles_Manically wrote...

Don't bother activating Powerful Swings while you're a lowbie though. The accuracy penalty hurts BAD, even with 2h-Strength. It's just not worth it until you get better geared.
As for armor mods, I usually just use the default armors in game and do just fine on NM. If you just want a cool looking set, the Runic Warden set is always a favorite.

Here's my badass 2-H female warrior.

That 99% is a real bummer.... It dropped from 100% when I used aura of pain(which counts as friendly damage for some reason).

Warden Commander from Warden's Keep DLC (that DLC tends to disappear at random so I avoid using it)
Cailan's Armor from RtO
Warden's Runic Armor from Dragon Age Nexus (looks great and comes with a full set of weapons and shields)
Wade's Superior Dragonscale Armor (always a good pick if you don't use DLC or mods)
For the weapons:
Starfang (awesome sword but same problem as with Warden Commander armor)
Chasind Great Maul (if you prefer mauls over swords)
Summer Sword (nice looking sword but you can't get it until the Landsmeet)
Nug Crusher (maul from RtO)

Really?
Huh, can't understand why they would hate Leliana prior to DSC. Morrigan hate I can understand even if I find it ridiculous.
Btw, awesome screenshot. Makes me want to try playing an archer.
Leli and your Warden look really good together.

As for playing as an Archer, Archers can actually stand toe to toe with two-handers in terms of damage output. The key however is to use the Faster Bow Talents mod that speeds up archery talents for the player and party but not the NPCs, it doesn't really break the game it just makes it so archers aren't boring as heck to play as. Without the mod pretty much all your activated talents besides scattershot and arrow of slaying aren't worth using so you just turn into an auto-attack machine and that's a snooze-fest.

Not everyone likes the same things so it's pretty simple to understand. Consider very divided opinions on the "valley girl" stereotype, Leliana is very close to it in some regards.Master Shiori wrote...
