I finished Lothering and cant decide to do either the Circle Tower or pick up Shale in Honnleath first. Can you do the Stone Prisoner low levelled?

Its not that hard, just some darkspawn and demons. But I always grab Wynne first for the heal. A SnS warrior like myslef needs it really bad

I always get shale as the first thing right after ostagar, shade is soo full of win ^^, even on my NM playthroughs, so yes it is definitly doable.

I also pick Shale right after Ostagar, then go do Warden's Keep.

I don't really care about Shale. I just go to Honnleath to get the helmet early. And then I go to Orzammar to get the key to the city but I usually finish the quest very late in the game(the tower is always my first stop).

I find Shale to be incredibly useful in a fight.

Not only can she tank, but also melee dps. range dps and buff the group as needed. And you don't even need to change her gear, err crystals, to do it. Simply change her tactics.

Damn, Marjolanne is hard to kill. She single handedly took down Sten, Wynne and Leli with her fists.

That woman is insane.

She can take down Alistair or Shale with 2-3 hits and one-shots Morrigan and Leli.

Stun, paralyze and similar skills are your best bet for taking her down.

The last couple of times I fought her she got stuck using captivating song from about 3/4 health all the way down to dead, made for quite a dull fight. I'd be interested to see her stats though, since she can hit as hard as Ser Cauthrien even without a weapon.

My first time through she went toe to toe with my Sword and Sheild Warrior, for about 2 minutes. She was somehow lasting as long as a man in full armour wielding a sword, while wearing a dress.

Just imagine the horror if she was wearing leather armor and duel-wielding daggers.

Or using a bow for that matter.

I just fought her on my current playthrough, I pulled her alone into the front room to avoid the mercenaries, she then took one swing at Alistair and used captivating song for the entire fight, might be worth trying if your finding her hard to kill...

I just realized something. My current charachter is very similar to Sten so much that I think I am his: MINI ME!

although that is not such a bad thing in the end I guess. Three conversations in and I have over 40 approval!

So does Awakening ever tell you why Leliana isn't with you? i like the expansion though. No where near as great as Origins, but its still fun.

She's supposed to send you a letter, however like many things in the expansion it's bugged next patch is supposed to fix it but we already know what it says here's the text of it:

Dearest,
I hope you are well. Alas, I am unable to come to the keep as
I promised. I am so sorry, but the Grand Cleric herself wishes to speak
with me. I will tell you all about it once I have had my audience.

Is it true the darkspawn have not retreated? No matter, I'm
sure you have it under control. Wish I could be there, killing
darkspawn beside you. Perhaps you could save some for me? (All right,
that was a joke. Do not spare them. That would be silly.)

You are always in my thoughts.
Love, Leliana
P.S. Maybe you could consider growing some roses around your keep? That would make it so much prettier, don't you think?

Only Alistair is left unexplained I think as to why he is not there. Which makes no sense in my one run through I did, I romanced him so where in the floop is he at!

Also Leliana in the Shade Leather Armor is like a ninja. My own personal ninja.

Sounds like the junk they did on ME2. Instead of anything meaningful from your decisions on ME, you just got letters in ME2...which was a lame way to do it.

True, it's a very small thing for those who romanced Leliana or Zevran.

Still, we're talking about the expansion here which has 1/10 of a Origins' budget. Expecting them to do anything more to acknowledge our romances would be silly, especially since those aren't the focus of the game anyway.

Now if we had Leliana as a companion that would be a different matter entirely.

heh then you would like this then:

This sums up my feelings on:
-being railroaded into working for cerberus
-the whole mining system (tolerable with the new patch)
- The Paragon/Renegade charm system, which really limits you. (Sucks to be neutral)
-emails for everything feels weak as hell, actually missed the council check ins.
-The Marketing, dear god the marketing
-The almost non existince of conversations (NO WANT SEXZ, me no talk to you!) or Garrus with like two conversations with a maleshep
-Horizon and Shepards dialouge speciffically.
-The facial scars, and the most phleubtobium covered DEATH ever in sci-fi.
-The plot loyalty power?
-and the most anti-climatic and easy suicide mission ever.

Besides that Mass Effect 2 was great, the classes where awsome, the combat was good, and the charachters (Legion, Mordin, Grunt, and Kasumi!)

Also Jacob I just did a run on my friends xbox last weekend and have to say that I like Jacob, great guy, and I loved his loyalty mission. The dialouge on his romance is still slashfic worthy though.

I quite enjoyed the ride. But now that I think about it, if it wasn't for Tali and Garrus I'd just have played through ME2 once and put it away.

Frankly, it's enough to get me to replay Awakening with at least one of my characters, so I'm happy, and even though I'd rather have my romance back (who am I kidding, I just want Leliana back...) as a companion, it beats nothing.
