Thats something that makes such little sense the ME DLC is such garbage (Zaeed and Kasumi excluded) while all the DA DLC is awsome. The ME team should take pointers.

I don't know about that, Darkspawn Chronicles was pretty suck. In general it seems Bethesda was 100% correct about DLC, their Knights of the Nine addon for Oblivion was an example of how to make the perfect piece of DLC content. The DLC that Bioware has done, and that has been good, follow the example of Knights of the Nine.

Oblivion is awsome and I loved all their quests, but playing any Bethesda game is just so lonely. Fawkes is awsome with his infinte laser minigun, but he is no Leliana.

Different companies with different approaches, Bethesda games tend to be more focused on the individual and on exploration they however make some of the best side quests ever in fact the Dark Brotherhood side quests are better than the main plot of Oblivion. Bethesda however really struggles with characterization they just don't have high quality writers on staff. Bioware on the other hand is fantastic at characterization but they can't really make interesting side quests or a very compelling enviroment. Ferelden is incredibly lifeless, it just feels like a series of stores and information hubs for the player and the party.

True but I perfer Dragon Age games over Bethesda ones for the most part. Although I played Morrowind for 14 hours straight once and barly scaratched the surface. Bioware games feel more like they are limited, but Bethesda games are much more free and expansive over all. PLus going on a personal vendetta against Vampires/Slavers after getting turned into one all as a side quest was fun. Getting the cure was also amazing. I almost wrote a fanfic for it.

Oh no.  You start the romance on a male if you ask her if her fruit is forbidden -- NOT with a female.  That's a bad example for making your point.  It's a hilarious line, though.

Really, her romance has slight differences depending on the gender, (Zevran's is as well, and in fact the male and female romances are more different with him, though very very similar). If you play a female, I can see why you'd think she leaned towards female, but if you play a male, it will seem the same.

Look at it this way.  Zevran actually admits to liking women more than men, but it doesn't make him any less bisexual and it doesn't interfere with him still being attracted to a male warden and falling in love with him completely.

It's her response... not the fact that a romance is started. It's harder(harder assuming your game works properly and she doesn't ninja love you) to start a romance with Leliana as a female for a reason.  A woman asking a woman if her fruit is forbidden doesn't necessarily have to come out flirtatious it could be (if your like me) a jokingly way to ask about something your curious about.   

The way she says to the male "No, but not everyone gets a bite" came off to me as cold, like she's saying "cool off you coming on too strong" But that's completely skipped with the female, probably because Leliana either doesn't want to assume the f warden was flirting with her and reply with something that would make the situation more awkward or if the f warden  was flirting she doesn't want to tell her to cool it down.

But but but...  *grin* If she were saying the male warden was coming on too strong, the romance wouldn't start with that line. It is skipped with the female; the romance starting line with a femwarden early in the relationship from a completely different conversation.

But actually, between the male and the female conversation there, there is only one line that is different, and with the male it starts the romance.  Both she's supposed to sound embarrassed and bewildered.  I get more the impression that she's letting the male warden know she's interested but not to expect it to be just sex.

But there isn't really an "early" romance starting line for the f warden since you have to wait for the visit to camp and her initiation . 
Plus she approves more of the other advances the male wardens can make, the fruit question gains none.

And I want to support branka without losing shale. Will simply replacing shale during the battle (with oghren) be enough to make it so she it won't leave my party? I'm not exactly sure how it works and I'm sure one of you do. Thanks.

You have to leave her at camp, and then lie to her back at camp to pull it off.

Ah, is that all? He has no problem lying. If I leave her at camp, how do I start her personal quest with the golem registry?

She will start it in the camp, and you just go to anywhere in the deep roads and then shale will mark it on your map.

I like bringing her to the anvil personally since she and Caridin carried on for a good while. It is actually worth hearing her lines there at least once.



On a side note Cairidin is the only NPC besides Loghain to ever persuade me. With my elf he said that "youre own people have been enslaved too! Do you wish this on them!"

Also he is really well acted and destroying the anvil is actually better for Orzamar in the end.

I love reading (and sometimes writing) fanfiction. :> Also Waiting for Leliana's song dlc. Oh and I see on the first page and some others most of Leliana's pics are somewhat her modded version ? I find that wierd, I am a PC player myself but never bring myself to do such things as mod the apperance of characters  I like it the way most of them are.

the first pic is unmodded Leliana..  the rest is just to let people know that you won't be flamed if your Leli is modded..  we just love the character in any form
