I liked her romance simply because it has a shut-up kiss.
L:Oh chivilrary is so dead making the lady spill her guts like that!
Warden: KISSES HER
L:Well um.. that settles it.

Just the little smile she has is so cool.
I just downloaded Fraps so I will posting pics as I play about my Elven Mage Everd and her. Also has anyone downloaded TMP romance mod, and can tell me which of the three flavours (no pun intended) is the best. Also if anyone would like to email me recomendations of mods, speciffically about Leliana I will do my best.

-Giggles out.
edit: Any truth to the rumor of a Public Kiss mod for Leliana?

Even if you don't want my full ZDF mod, the Leliana fixes are also available as a standalone mod. I highly recommend dialog tweaks for her, and really Charsen's Gatekisses (Charsen added the scripted kisses to the gate scene, and made custom kisses as well). I recommend my leliana fix on top of that (Leliana Your Zevran Dialog Fix) as I have a few more fixes on top of DT's (just make sure you use the DT compatible version if using DT). ZDF also restores a banter between Leliana and Zevran among others (my banter fixes are also available as a standalone component). All are available on DANexus.

Hmmm, Terra_Ex's Morrigan Fix Pack also restores some banters between Leliana and Morrigan that ZDF doesn't -- a few of the catfights between Morrigan and Leliana.  His mod does work with mine, however, including the banters -- he fixed those in a different way than I did.

Edit: Dialog tweaks does add a public kiss.  ZDF fixes quite a few other issues with her dialog, most noteably her hardened vs non-hardened dialogs, but also a few other things.

I think I have the process down:

1)Download file

2)Unzip it onto my computer

3)Move it into the override file

4)Done

I think that is everything for using a mod.

Although I have a few questions:

1) Can I place the unpacked files into a folder like "MOD1" to keep my override file clean or do they have to all just be cut and pasted into override to work.

2)Do they take effect immediatly or do I have to start a new file

3)Do I have to get the DAmod manager or is that unneeded

4)what is probably the best mod to get right away?

thanks in advance

-Giggles out

DAModmanager is unneeded for manual installation of mods. However, a heads up. Say you do a manual installation of Dialog Tweaks and my Leliana fix. You will have to delete leliana.dlg from the DT.93a folder and make sure you are only using the DT compatible version of my fix. The archive contains both the DT version and the non-DT version though both are clearly marked.

All the mods I mentioned have their own file structure with folders. You can further add another folder and extract into that, but it should be ok if you just maintain the original folders.

With both DT and ZDF (or whatever parts of ZDF you choose use), you can install whenever. Gatekiss as well. These don't affect plot flags and therefore you won't be causing any problems if you decide to delete them partway through a playthrough. Morrigan Restoration Fix Pack I would install early and keep the entire game.

From another thread:
"How can anyone like Leliana?"
"How can you not? She is a bicurious french red head, who wears tight leather all the time, can kick your arse in a fight, and is open to wild threesomes, plus she once wrestled in caramel pudding!"
Whats wrong with you?

That's a really shallow reason to like someone. And what, exactly, do you feel is likeable about her if you're not interested in her sexually?

@Sarah that is not the only reasons I like her and I am not shallow, I merely found it funny that is all.

I like her because she is funny, knows about history (like me), is useful to any PC I have made, picks locks like a boss, is sweet, sunny, and good natured, and a red head. Besides she is so far the companion that most agrees with my own view of the world. So in short she if full of win.

I think that post was meant to be j/k. Even so, I like her positive demeanor, a nice contrast to Morrigan, mixed with a bit of tragic past and regretfulness. She's a force of good in the world once you recruit her, hardened or no, and I can't but feel sympathy for whatever she had to endure when she was betrayed and imprisoned by Marjolaine.

There may be people who say that, given her past, you shouldn't feel any sympathy for her as she was a bard, a profession involving assassinations. It's a valid point of view, but I personally think that most of her jobs involved stealing documents or gathering information and killing was more the exception... at least that's how I understood it. She also makes it clear that she disliked killing people, and only enjoyed the "hunt", that is she enjoyed going after nobles (i'm thinking "the hunt" involves gathering as much intel about the target as possible and infiltrating their home using a cunning plan, Blackadder style).

As a final note, the people she went after were most likely nobles playing the so called "grand game", and I really don't feel any shred of sympathy for the nobility.

If Ferelden and Orlasis can be compared to England and France than I would hate to have lived in Orlasis. In England peasents did have avenues of escape from their lives. While in medieval france everyone took turns kicking them (look up Three Estates). So if some perverted noble bites it oh well. Besides its not like any of the Origins (Besides Dalish/possibly HN) are squeaky clean.

CE-kills an enitre small army to save their cousin, kills noble/pawns off cousin

DN-Involved in Dirty Power politics, may get a few people killed along the way

DC-Is a carta thug who kills others for an evil boss (similar to Leliana)

Mage- Lets an apostate loose, turns his back on his only friend.

So as a PC we are not much better than any of our party.

Quoted for truth. Anything she did in the past was against the Orlesian nobility, so she was doing you, no doubt a faithful Fereldan, a great favor. Unless you play the moral card - killing anyone is wrong - but then you can't really like anyone from the party.

Only Human Noble/City Elf/Circle Mage count as a "Ferelden."

Right. The point still stands though, because Dalish Elves have enough reasons to hate Orlesians (all humans, actually) and the Dwarves probably just don't care.

Well to be honest I just dislike nobles in general, Orlesian or otherwise.

I've also added Axekix's signature to my own. So what if Leliana ninja-romances you? She does that because she cares!

I only chose him because of his majestic beard, groomed hair and enlightened looks.

Besides, I am a man! I have the right to be inconsistent!

I got Fraps and was playing around with it and I found a really annoying issue:

I can take as many pictures as I want but If I take so much as one video, then it refuses to take anymore pictures! Since I vowed to record my Mage, Leliana game I want to Iron this out. Also what is a good picture hosting site, besides photobucket

So, anyone like dressing Leliana up in medium armor or prefer light?

Does The Felon Coat count as light? Since outside of my Rouge playthroughs she always wears it.

That is indeed Return to Ostagar. I thought it might be a nice place for my Cousland to visit with his lovey dovey Leliana, not including Darkspawn.

Have you tried downloading Leliana mods? So she could look more nice. I have seen a nice Leliana mod and armor set that compliments her.
