I'm......satisfied. You were asked for something and you delivered. The amount of the information is underwhelming but it's exactly what people asked for....a start. I can clearly understand from the tone of the post that other issues are going to be included in the update but you only listed three as examples since you are limited in what you can reveal.

Alright. I really hope you take switzki's post to heart here because it's also a good next step. If you keep us feeling involved in the process, even if it's minor, I think you'll find less anger in general.

Don't be afraid to update us with another bug fix or two, no matter how minor, when you can. The more you give us the better we'll feel. My patience is still thin, but I'm happy to see progress of any kind.

Sounds good. Is there any kind of news on an Awakening patch?

We're working on putting some Awakening in the patch. Keep watching for more updates.

I'd like to keep adding to the list as items are confirmed as passed out of QA, so this won't be the last you will hear before the patch.

Victor, are there plans to fix the stealing bug? or is thta a result of a memory leak?

ladydesire: quit being silly. My request was simple and easy to understand. I didn't ask how many bugs are they working on, I asked:

HOW MANY BUGS FIXED

Victor: since you clearly won't post more than the three bugs listed, I have to assume (as I have said) that those are all the fixes after 7 months of "working on it". Pitiful.

Ah, so all the console players(myself included)can FINALLY roll a new dual wield dagger dex/cun rogue who just may actually become their top dog dps toon as this class was intended to be. Even though 7 months is an awful long time to wait, better late than never I suppose. Thanks Victor.

Finally Bioware did some good move! Victor, I've only one question. Is framerates issue of PS3 version on your bug lists? Will this patch fix it?

Not that this will stop any of you from asking but I think it's implied in the message that Victor (or anyone else from BW) isn't going to mention specific bug fixes (like the three already mentioned) until...........

well who the hell knows when they'll decide to do that! That's been the problem!

Anyway, I wouldn't expect to get an answer on questions like "Are they going to fix _____" or "Are you guys looking into ____" because......

Though I will echo some of Branji's anger on this. After all this time, a short list of three items we already pretty much knew is pretty sad. But I still say the next step is what makes the difference. So we'll see....

Working as intended; to be honest, I'd like to see a few more of the sustained abilities shut off when not needed.

Berserker is a combat-only talent. It is auto off when not in combat.

Nice to finally hear some concrete word on the fixes. I don't believe my crashes are related to Audio, but you never know with computers eh? I hope that someone is looking into what looks like a memory leak post-1.03 (that seems related to the fix for load times).

Once the patch is out I may be able to play the only game in years to engross me for hours and hours on end.

Very not impressed. Over 7 months and 3 bugs is all you have fixed? That's definitely laziness or incompetance. Modders quickly fixed most and this is all you have done. You should be ashamed that's all you have done.

But we also wanted to make sure that you knew the status of these bug
fixes and what you can expect to see resolved when the game update is
finally released. So, starting with this post, we will begin listing
those details. We won't reveal the full contents of the update, as many
parts are still in testing and may or may not make it in. But with this
first post, we wanted to assure you that many of the top issues you may
have encountered are a part of the update and will be resolved.

Read it.

Since you obviously missed it..

These fixes are driven by your feedback, and we will keep watching
the forums to find issues that we could resolve. What we've listed are
not the full patch contents, but things we knew that you were most
concerned with and wanted to let you know about.

Meaning, there will be more updates later, not immediately. Give them time to release the rest of the details. If you can't do that, I doubt you are a person patient enough to play this game in the first place. But please, continue to post useless comments here and be ignored because of the un-needed content.

Branji seems to be the sort of person that will not be satisfied until he has a list of all the things that might be in the next patch, just so he can complain about things that don't make it into it. :D

LOL Sure seems that way.. Can't rush these things, though, or you get worse bugs in the patch than what the patch is meant to fix or, like you said, some of the fixes don't make it because it got rushed.. Some people don't seem to understand that.

Thank you Victor and all at Bioware for risking the wrath of a few frustrated keyboard cowboys, in order to provide some information about the upcoming patch. Please continue to provide conservative updates even if it seems like "no good deed goes unpunished".

@Branji - The fact that Bioware IS letting us know about this upcoming 1.04 patch is a GOOD thing, so how about you be a bit more positive hey? If you're as bitter as your posts make you sound then perhaps you shouldn't play Dragon Age if its making you so unhappy.

What, you think the people at Bioware sit around all day twiddling their thumbs? Wake up!

I'm glad to hear that the support for Dragon Age is not dead. This game is awesome and runs really good in general for me. But I'll gladly keep getting updates as long as they are available.

Yay our first patch ever! Well at least those of us on the 360 anyway...There was a patch that was suppose to fix the achievements but it just caused problems and they made another patch to patch that patch. So I don't count those. Nice to see some actual bug fixes.

You smote those bugs BioWare. Smote their ruin upon the mountainside!
