Wait are you saying ME2 has NG+ NOW!???Fexelea wrote...
Actually the vocalization of discontent is not only good for the lolz but useful for the company that receives it and indispensable for companies to continue to best themselves.
Do you like having NG+ in ME2? If people hadn't got mad in the forums and ranted for months about it, it wouldn't have happened
hmmm is that update for x box?
Reason people complained about that is because they had it in ME 1 and took it out with me 2
Glitches and bugs are tottaly different from that.
The ability to continue playing with your character is ng+, and ME2 has it.

The point is that community pressure works. And the most vocal and often called "dissenters" are usually the ones who help companies find the right combinations that work internally as well as for the customers

Self-congratulations for what? Bioware team? If so they deserved a pat on the back "at least"..doncha think?
BTW I sit at the computer for many hours, because I enjoy it..but alot of my time is spent outdoors landscaping. Want to come help me pull some more blackberry bushes out by the roots?
If people didn't sit at their computers, you wouldn't be able to post at or to them. Still not sure where you were going with that statement..but I am going to assume, that I understood.

Well sometimes on a play-through I don't encounter bugs either. /shrug Just one of those things I guess. Or I know how to get around them. Now if it was console..I would be clueless ..have to say.

Quick question: as the first post of this topic hasn't been updated, and I don't really feel like reading through 26 pages to find out, can somebody tell me whether there has been any further official word on when the patch will be ready, or on other bug fixes besides the ones mentioned in the first post? (I'm not impatient, just curious.)
For my part, I'm really hoping for the bugged companion quests in Awakening to get fixed.
Victor Watcher hinted earlier that there will be an update sometime tomorrow.. Other than that, nothing.

Once again, two people who don't play on the bugged platforms stating the game works perfectly. That's great for you. It's not great for the thousands of customers who lost save files because they saved too often, or sold too many items. I'm glad you've had a bug-free experience. But don't assume that because your game is "bug free" that everyone else's bugs are due to their own incompetence, as so often seems to be the case.
Indeed, I am one of those who said I don't have a single bug issue.. However, I never once said that it was 'due to their own incompetence' if someone DID have a bug.. Didn't seem to matter.. Still got snapped at for no apparent reason.. Hmmm..

Ummm you aren't reading I am guessing..go many pages back and look for a posting where I posted a work around for an Awakening bug.......I never said I "never" encounter bugs, that was your interpretation..or you didn't read what I stated.
Thing is, right now we need to calm down some, wait to see what this soon to be released patch brings us.
Personally I am hoping that finally...those that are console owners will see an end to AT LEAST the major game breakers they are encountering.
I am going to make sure I watch the patch file as it downloads, as I remember 1.03 had many, many files to it. So I am suspecting this one might be as large, maybe more so due to some of the important fixes listed.
Game on Folks, stay optimistic..maybe this is the one that will fix things for your game.

im not bringing emotion, he is LITTERALLY useless. he brings up no points, nothing. all he is doing is complaining, and that is utterly useless. not to mention he is complaining about what he does not know.1xs3thx1 wrote...

you are also making too many assumptions... do you have any word of MS

and 6... sorry...
i will restate only one word i said that makes everything you said in that very ellipied sentance fall apart at its seams.
"if".
I really hope you know what if means

X box was super hot and i had to wait 5 minutes for the game to understand that i killed something and it has loot.Horrible standing around in the fade waiting for quest updated so i could kill another mini boss.I also found that i had a ton of missing talking and some of it was out of place.
I now notice* probably due to abusing the exp glitch*
when im at ostagar i randomly talk to people while i move around and get transported near them.Happens maybe 1-2 times per character no big deal.mostly talk to the guy telling you the main camp is off limits.

If you want them to patch the game help them do so. Send them private messages of your system specifications and the exact glitch, where and when it occured for you.
There are several 6-month-old multi-page discussion threads in the Xbox 360 Tech Support Forums that might interest you. I agree that the highly emotional tone of discontent so prevalent in recent posts probably isn't helping get the issues fixed faster, but it shouldn't be difficult to understand why some people are frustrated past the point of tact. Many of us have been asking nicely and politely for a substantive patch for many months.
I happen to believe in the old adage that one can catch more flies with honey than vinegar, but it's worth noting that it was apparently the vinegar that prompted BioWare to respond (in a visible way). If the honey had yielded better results, we might not now be wading through so much vinegar, if you follow the analogy. Regardless, I hope that the upcoming patch will finally address many of the outstanding issues in DAO, and I hope that BioWare can strike a better balance between full disclosure and complete silence in future communication with the community. I'd prefer to see fewer forum members screaming obscenities at developers and fewer developers rubbing forum members' noses in the EULA. Don't we all want the bugs fixed?

out? the fixes are comeing, and really its better then alot of games
get. i know its not an excuse but getting it later is better then never
right?
i mean for all we know it took them this long to find out what caused the problems, so since they figures them out about the same time (theroy = not fact), they decided they would bundle them all together. just my guess could be wrong

ehem, I don't see where you can put the "if"... if you have something to add (the meaning is implicit)....
And for meaning purposes, stating someone is literally useless because someone is complaining... emotions, apart... how can you re-elaborate?.... of course, if...

well, if you try to say "someone is not adding something useful to the conversation", it does sound different than say "someone is useless to the conversation"... but anyhow, the point is, the complains, specially from Xbox users is the result of 7 months of the no straight answer from BW, do not mix PC patches with Xbox patches.... they are very different... and as switzk pointed out, manners and politeness were in order for 4 months, the only answer from BW was "we are working on it", nothing else... again in Xbox... and for the bugs in Xbox, according with the BW announcement only the saves and dex bugs are considered for this patch release, so far...
Now, if the complaining factor annoys you, be calm, the usual vocal members are well identified as Xbox users, at the end, the ones who are going to suffer, are the Xbox users... and no, the patches for PC do not depend of the Xbox, BW can deliver a PC patch without a Xbox patch as it's been done.

Just popping in (I'll do it in the off topic forum) to ask any brits around about the World Cup and when Saturday's game is on. I wonder if I'll be able to catch it somehow....
Oh and thanks edgarcabrerauk for linking the bug list thread again. I was about to do that since we were starting to get more of those people tilting the scales against the community.
