Bumping because I updated the main post. I hope this time I get some help.
Edit: This is the email I sent support
Hi, this is my data:
[*]BioWare Community Username: DarkOmegaX
[*]E-mail Address: ######################[*]BioWare Store Receipt# (if applicable): not applicable
[*]Web site URL (if applicable):
http://social.bioware.com/page/me2-dlc[*]GameTitle/Product/Web site: BioWare Social Network (Official DLC for Mass
Effect 2)
[*]Problem description: read below
[/list]I have a problem
buying DLC from the
social.bioware.com site. At first I couldn't redeem a 1600 points bioware point card that I
bought online but after chatting with EA Support they were able to
manually add the points to my account. Now that I do have the points I
went to buy the DLC, selected the Kasumi DLC and clicked on "Buy now".
Afterwards I was redirected to this address:
http://social.biowar...=OFB-MASS:20838it
prompted for my password and I hit "Continue" which led me to this
other address:
https://masseffect2....OFB-MASS:20838and
I get the following error message:
"Internal Error.
The server encountered an error and could not complete your request.
If the problem persists, please report your problem and mention this
error message and the query that caused it."
I contacted EA
support chat again and the support guy said the made some changes to my
account to make sure I was able to buy but I was still getting the error
so he told me that I should contact Bioware support directly because my
account is fine and it should be a problem with your site.
Just to be sure that I do have the points added I checked this site:
https://masseffect2....ts.bioware.com/I
clicked on the "Points Statement" button and it showed 2 buttons (or
tabs?) labeled as "BIOWARE POINTS (0)" and "BIOWARE POINTS (1600)"
respectively. I don't know what that means. Do I have zero points or
1600 points? If I try to buy more points from there I get the same
Internal Error as before.
Please help me. I have tried everything but I get nothing but
generic replies from EA like erase your browser cache, use Internet
Explorer or open your firewall. Nothing of that works so please don't
dismiss my issue with one of those.
[*]Edited my email not that it was solved.
