3. Problem Details
Shepard can't walk.
I've successfully played the game in the past (when the game came out) but my most recent install will not work at all.
-The keyboard works but I can't walk.
ie:
I can esc to menu,
I can spacebar to start the game / select items around me (if i load a game where i'm in front of an object).
I can open the map!
It just won't walk around with wasd (or any other keys i map to such as up/down/left/right)
Here is more details / troubleshooting I've performed:
-Other games do work. wasd works fine if i exit and run say Crysis.
-I have tried multiple and both usb and ps2 type keyboards
-I have uninstalled and reinstalled game
-I have tried both updated and nonupdated versions of ME2
-I have actually reinstalled vista (was on the list of things to do anyways) confirming correct drivers for everything involved
-I have yelled loudly at my PC
I am willing to try any of the above again and anything else that might resolve this. I would rank my personal technical experience as very experienced (9/10?) and I am at a loss. I've racked my brain on this for the past 2 days and come to you with empty hands
Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated.
