If you killed wrex then the game would shut down. A fist will come out of the screen and punch you.

I agree with this statement, in fact I dare someone who has killed Wrex in their main game to show their face here.

Ok sure.  :: waves ::  My main playthrough is a paragade, male soldier.  Even after doing Wrex's armor quest, I gunned him down myself.  I also left Grunt in his tank and ensured Legion's death.  My main looks at the history of each race and acts accordingly.  Krogan, Batarian, and Geth have all proven themselves hostile enemies to be put down.

Organic life is doomed to extinction if Wrex is dead. The only possible way to save the galaxy in ME3 is to have Wrex available to headbutt the last Reaper into a blue giant.

I killed Wrex, despite thinking he was an awesome character whom I liked very much. Shooting him was such a heavy and dramatic scene that doing anything else just seems cheap and pointless in comparison.

A while back a guy had a whole thread up about just that. I agree, it is very dramatic. It's why I'm a bit torn about the suicide mission. I want to see what everyone does in ME3 but I also feel that the suicide mission is a lot more intense if you are losing people every step of the way with only a few survivors.

The beauty of multiple playthroughs. I have one playthrough with a critical save point where I have most of the squadmates, but none of the Normandy upgrades, none of the loyalty missions done, and before the IFF is obtained. From that point, I have the option of going as suicidal as I want.

What I think is funny is that it's even more difficult to kill everyone as it is to keep them all alive. Screw the "No One Left Behind" achievement, "Everyone Left Behind" is the true achievement.

Damn... This urdnot Wrex sounds like a nice guy. Unfortunetly, I'm playing the ME series on my PS3, so I started wit the second game and urdnot was apparently dead : I would have definantly saved him if I got the choice in the preset history, Wreav so far is making himself a douche in my eyes...

Yeah, it basically assumes you made all renegade choices in ME 1 if you choose the default.

yes having wreave in ME3 pretty much decided the fate of Krogan's for me, there is no way I would allow him to rule the krogan. Could try gibbed I have heard people have gotten that to work for 360 maybe it works for ps3 too?

Only reason I killed off characters was to see the effect in ME3. Normally though I have no motivation to kill Wrex or let Garrus die so I just use gibbed. If your going to pay $60 or more you might as well explore every aspect of it.

I mean otherwise it's like buying shoes and wearing only one because you didn't want the other one to get dirty and worn out. Not trying to ****** off anyone by this though.

PS3 owners can buy the Genesis DLC which will let them begin an ME2 game in which Wrex is alive or dead according to the player's choice. Same goes for a few other major ME1 decisions such as the identity of the Virmire survivor and the fate of the Council. It's only about 6 or 7 ME1 choices so you'll miss all those little cues in ME2 that come from ME1 side missions, but you do get to make some of the most important choices. Not sure Gibbed is an option for PS3 players.

I want to do a playthrough in the future where I only stick to the people the game wants me to take onboard and leave the rest unrecruited. Is Wreav still in charge if I do not recruit Wrex?

And maybe a playthrough where I do no loyalty missions.
Maybe reuse a old save in ME2 to just put the wrong people in the wrong places (You want to crawl through vents Jacob? Go for it! Okay Jack, don't want her to lead? Fine, you will proof you can do better! Miranda, you believe any biotic can create a bubble? Go on, show your superiority..).

Wreav was such a douche character.  I wish I could have killed him myself in ME3.

Can anybody answer what happens if you never recruited Wrex though?  I know that if you never recruited Garrus his dialogue is slightly different on Omega, what about Wrex?
