Rage nobody is saying that you don't criticize your team. Brazilian people and Brazilian press do, just as Italy does.



I have lived in Brazil (quite a few years) and I watch the news as well. The behavior described for Italy is equally applicable in Brazil: what he was commenting on was how Italian press assumes the team has to be good, how they highlight it as a disappointment rather than a defeat, etc. This is true for Brazil as well.

Well, Dunga declared war on our Press.. because they assume that the team will fail, while hoping it doesn't, because Dunga is not doing what he said he would when he took the job. Put the best players to play.

And the Italian press is telling everyone who will listen the team is old and will fail. This is the point: the assumption that the team must be good, that the country must be a candidate for championship, etc. After a match, you get the blame game and the disappointment game, rather than the humbling "we sucked". This is normal.

You think thats bad? Try living here, the whole of the UK share TV stations, newspapers and radio. None of whom seem to understand that theres 4 countries here not just 1. All we ever hear about is England, England, England.
The worst part is they cant grasp the fact that England are kind of crap, they are always naming themselves amongst the favourites for the World Cup and think of themselves in the same league as Brazil, Italy, Germany and Argentina. They call their players world class because they perform well in the domestic league and they can't figure out why they dont perform as well at international level. It never occurs to them that they infact arent world class and the reason that so few of them ever leave the English league is because teams in other leagues see them for what they are, players lacking the technical and tactical ability to control games against decent opponents. I mean their last 3 managers have been Eriksson, McLaren and Cappello. All who have had successful careers but cant seem to lead England to any sort of victory they feel they deserve. Its about time they stopped blaming the managers and looked at the fact their players arent as good as they think.

To be fair its generally not the fans that are that delusional its just the media.

Robben is out today, Kuyt is in. I will never understand how he gets in the Dutch team he is terrible for Liverpool.

My uncle said that their hotel in South Africa was completely surrounded by tall walls while outside of those walls, raids and gunshots were hearable. Ahm, no, I prefer not going there

If I am not wrong, Brazil was "given" to the Portuguese by the then pope. While the other side (Mexico, Argentina and those) were given to the Spanish, giving the reason of the language difference, correct? Or so did my high school history teacher say.

I dont think its rampant here in Northern Ireland Fexelea thats why it annoys me so much. Here you have to change your country allegiance depending on what bar your standing in. Pick the wrong one and theres a chance its your last mistake. Its annoying being constantly told about the rightful champions England who deserve to win against those dirty foreigners when anyone with half a brain can see they just arent that good and half their team are nothing but scum who arent fit to represent their country. I get worked up on this subject lol, even more so when I have had 2 hours of sleep like today.



I think Van Bronkhurst might have been playing for Holland in the 800's when they conquered South Africa.

No, my family has average people money.
They probably use there little amount of money in comparison, alot better as well as being more deserving.
Charuty workers in poor people county's probably work there ass off with very limited resources. These 20 something buy cars crash them, sleep with kiss and tell page models buy big stupid houses, for what? Kick a ball, on grass.

Brazil was discovered by Portugal on May,22, 1500. Mexico is Central America, where the Spanish arrived in 1492. They didn't know that Brazil was there or that there was a South America when the Treaty of Tordesillas was signed in 1494. And Portugal expanded far past the line of the treaty, giving u what is now our country. =)

Now, what a match. I was needing some sleep for some time and they did it. They gave me a well deserved rest! hahaha .. And the Danish are far more dangerous than the Dutch so far, even with over 70% possession by Holland!

We were expecting the Dutch not to play all their forwards and attacking midfielders in basically the same position. I have missed most of the second half but thats what the first half looked like to me.
