Did anyone noticed the green laser in Argentina's match, directed to the eyes of Nigerian players? I saw it when it went over the field. They use that in Libertadores Cup, our S. American version of UCL, particularly in Brazil and Argentina. Very unsportsmanlike.
And this will definitely be the Cup of the Keepers... or of the chickens, if you like.

They did show replays of it on TV here but they only showed it floating around Messi. It was on the pitch infront of him. But thats all they mentioned of it Rage.

So the new Adidas football is apparently what's causing the goalie problems. I read an article about it today and it seems like some of the players are definitely complaining that it handles differently.
Not just the British goalie that messed one up. Now, the Algerian guy did so too. Wonder where this will go.

I... uhh... kind of understand the stupid impression Green made, but don't you think the Algerian goalkeeper did also something stupid? I mean, I would be able to stop that ball! Instead, the ball ended in the goal, and my cursed country won. Watching the news is pure hell now!
And to anyone that thinks it should have been a tie : I agree. But no, now the whole friggin 2 million inhabitants are hoping for qualifying! Good God, we're becoming worse than Italy just for one victory!

my prediction today:
the first game doesn't matter to me
Portugal will win the second match but only 1-0
and the last game will be the Goal Party of Brazil ... but the socialists of Korea may resist !

A tirany-dictatorship hardly classifies as socialist, IMHO. Sweden is socialist. These psedo communists countries like Cuba or N.Korea are just a perversion of the concept. Free elections, humans rights, sharing wealth thru a strong tax system while making the most to get the people on high stantards of heath, wealth, education, access to information and freedom, those are true socialists countries. Even if they have a King.
Go make your predictions in the Pool topic! Why waste them here? You still can win the big prize with so many matches left for you to predict and get the right score for them!

Note : political discussions are verbotten. Just that you know. Still, I don't believe politics are anyway related. And while I wish Brazil to win, it would sure be interesting seeing a South Korea vs North Korea final.

Don't put Cuba and N. Korea together like that, it just ain't fair. Go Brazil!

Uu, big mistake from the keeper. He tried to kick away the ball, instead he gave it to Slovakia!

About the worst game of this world cup so far, it's like watching a second division game, minus the vuvuzelas.

Nah, Slovenia Algeria was the worst. This one at least has some nice passes. But nothing special.

Not at all. Some passes but generally it's not an emotional match, if I might call it like that. None of the teams will be able to stand against Italy and Paraguay methinks.
