Not really, but thought they would have had enough about them to beat the Swiss.

Ohh and if anyone is interested, 14 less goals scored (25 this year) so far compared to the last WC.

I got a text from the bookies less than an hour after the game finished Spain went from 4/1 favourites to 5/1 joint favourites with Brazil and Argentina. Germany are 9/2 second favourites and England are 7/1 third favourites. Those are English bookies.RageGT wrote...

Irish bookies now have Brazil 9/2, Spain 5/1, Argentina 11/2, Germany 7/1, Holland and England 8/1.

Trust the English bookies to have England at third favourites....
Looking to make a killing from the all the idiotic England fans who actually think we can win it lmao.

Aye same over here they know people will be fooled by the media claims about world class players and throw money on them. Easy money for the bookies.
I have noticed with the lack of goals the prices for top scorer have all dropped too.

Seriously now, the freezing winter, the ball and the heights must have some influence on that. Perhaps not as much as they claim but it's not like an enjoyable summer at the sea level. They get more tired faster in S.Africa as it is now, don't they?

Mav, you were right. I probably mistyped my South Africa vs Uruguay prediction when I repeated it for the full remaining lists. Original since starting 1st round was 2x1 for game 17 and it is showing 2x0 in my post with my 2nd /3rd rounds bets. Sorry for that. I'll stick with the original bet. S.Africa 2x1 Uruguay.
Fixed it and reposted it at OP.

So weird!
FIFA's official statistics place Brazil as the team with most Shots:
26 shots, 10 on target, 09 missed and 07 blocked. Then comes Spain witth 24, Argentina and Chile with 20, England, Netherlands, South Korea and France all with 18!
As for the Passing, Brazil leads with (584) followed by Germany (474) and Italy (427).
And Possession as well! Brazil had 63% against Korea DPR. But Spain had it too (63%) against Switzerland. (with a very different match result from that of Brazil! LOL)

Fishy ain't it? I can swear that Brazil was horrible in that match, specially at the first half. We play better against better teams. Vide Brazil x Italy at the Confederation Cup last year! =)

I think thye have the mentality that they know they will win, and sort of cruise, Japan just caught them out a little...
I dont think they are anywhere near like the great sides of the past, crappy GK, who cares about defence? We know we can always score more than the other team hehe....
