Truth be told, there are no more naive, silly teams anymore. I remember '74, Yugoslavia 9x0 Zaire. Well, there are no more "Zaire's" in world football. All teams in this WC have players at the major clubs/leagues of the world. On those old days, only 2 foreigners were allowed per club. Globalization..heh

I genuinely believe the England game against Algeria was a worse display than when we played against USA. One fan said "I travelled 24 hours to see this match and it was shocking. Many of the England players play really well day in and day out for their respective clubs, but as soon as they wear the 3 Lions shirt they seem to freeze."

So true, and there really is no more excuses for England. If we want to be champions of the world we have to play like champions and get the bulldog spirit back into the team.

Some of the passing and mistakes made in this game is what one might expect to see from school kids learning the game, not from over paid pampered so called professional players, who just recently were also moaning because they also miss their Wags and are bored between games. Then get some F***ing practice and training done on the field then you won't have time to be bored - for heavens sake!
