Them vuvuzela's being silenced was the best part of the game so far. That was an awkward looking finish. Lets see the mexicans go on from here and win it in the last couple of minutes. Viva Mexico!!

The Irish tv station covering the world cup has had to issue an apology for the vuvuzela's because they had so many complaints about the noise and said they cant do anything about it. After one game . My neighbours may be complaining later if I decide to sing the Diego Forlan song.

LOL, Druss. I guess ours had it filtered somehow, even with an in-loco transmission. It didn't sound that loud. But it is annoying nonetheless. Only that when the game got really good in the 2nd half, I didn't even noticed those horns. But when the game ended... what a relief!

Mexico looked like it was playing us there... Lots of pointless passing, not enough aggression in the final third, and big counter openings. Starting Franco was a mistake -- he should have had at least one goal in the first half.

He should have had 2. He looked like he closed his eyes when he had that unmarked header from the corner.

For now, I am not impressed by WC2010. Hope later matches, like Brazil Portugal will give some satisfaction. Tomorrow a big match, but hell, I expected Uruguay France to be one too. The match was simply... horrible and disgusting!
