Hey, what's the order that determines who is going to support saving the council and who doesn't?

If I could make a guess... abandoning the Council would probably be something like:

1. Ashley
2. Kaidan
3. Wrex
4. Tali
5. Garrus
6. Liara

...unless it's random (with the exception of Ashley)

Hmm. I know Kaidan advocates saving the Council even with Liara there. I know Ashley often advocates abandoning the Council, as does Wrex.

Nilfalasiel in the Garrus support thread I believe said it's Kaidan - Liara - Tali - Garrus - Ashley - Wrex, but I had wondered how a Renegade Kaidan or Paragon Ashley change places in the order, because apparently they do.

I still think a Paragon Ashley would tell Shepard to abandon the Council. As Renegade as Wrex is, he doesn't have any ill-will toward them.

Anyone want to ask the Ashley thread?

Freedom's progress: I don't know if you caught it - but if you are "nice" to Veetor, disable the monitors with your omnitool, AND are polite to him at the end of the conversation - when Tali bursts into the room, and you ask her to go with you, she says "I'd love to, but I promised to complete this mission". On the other hand, IF you are mean to Veetor, shoot the monitor, and say talking to him was a waste of time because he was "off his nut" - and then ask Tali to go with you, she says "I am still trying to wrap my mind about you still be alive and working for Cerberus"

Apparently the dialogue trees have many more branches than meets the eye.

Updated, thanks!

If you do the paragon option in Ashley's romance then she will advocate saving the council (even if Liara or Garrus are there) but if you don't do the paragon romance then she is the opposite and will say to destroy them.  If you renegade romance Kaidan then he will advocate destroying the council (even if Wrex is there) but if you don't renegade romance him then he will always support saving the council.
In order to change Ashley and Kaidan's opinions then they have to be paragon(Ashley)/Renegade(Kaidan) romanced.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but Jacob has a TalkBox on Level 28 of the Zakera Ward on the Citadel, right across from the Rapid Transit hub (to the left of the game store coming from the stairs). I didn't see this in the OP, so I assume it hasn't been mentioned yet. It is three lines long.

Ack, I don't know how I managed to look over these two.

Fixed the Jacob line for the Citadel hub, but I need to go over Legion's loyalty mission again.

Hey, Ecael, what does this mean? Your guide was so awesome I wanted to test some of it out...

Thane's Recruitment (twrasa)

*Jack, *Garrus, *Jacob - 1, 2, 7 (Throw Guard off Tower, Jacob has SEVEN different lines?)
*Jack, *Garrus, *Grunt, *Tali, *Miranda - 1 (Thane's First Appearance)
*Jacob - 10 (Thane Appearance, Varied Entrance, TEN different lines?)

"Throw guard off tower, Jacob has seven different lines"? "Thane apearance, ten different lines"?

I just played these scenes, and Jacob has one line for each of these instances. Am I missing something?

Hey Ecael! Another question here about your guide:

"Collector Homeworld (endgm2, endgm3)
Unique* Dialogue
*Grunt, *Miranda, *Jacob, *Thane - 1 (If they survive the 2nd Fire Team leader position)"

I'm confused by this. By "survive 2nd fire Team Leader position", I'm guessing you mean the second time you have to choose a fire team leader. This being said, how can Grunt or Thane survive the 2nd fire team position?

They can survive it if they are the only ones running that gauntlet iirc

(basically you take 2 squadmates, 1 biotic barrier and send another away, kill the rest except for one)

Lurking off and on for a little while now, and I just now noticed this thread, with my hobby of ripping all the audio and using it to make lame porn?  Shame on me! :P

Just wanted to chip in and say great job compiling all this.  I remember how tedious it got after a while just listening to a big playlist of all the game's audio, so I know this was a lot of work.

A few things I wanted to add on, though, as far as the "Missing dialogue" section.  It's been a long time since I listened to this dialogue, but I remember coming across a few missing things not listed.  One, not that interesting, was a few lines from the Freedom's Progress file, which sound like it was originally going to be the tutorial area instead of the Cerberus base, or that they were going to have more tutorials there.   It's been a long time since I heard it, though, I forgot what the specifics were, but it sounded like they were going to have you use heavy weapons to blow open a door at some point.  Since they already did the heavy weapons training on the Cerberus station, though, that must have gotten cut.

The more interesting thing I found, though, was several lines left over from a Mordin/Grunt Normandy conflict that was cut.  I'm trying to remember what was still there: I don't think the actual conflict between the two of them was in there, but they each had the "apology lines" for when you sided with one, and then go back to the other and try to get their loyalty back.

Also, there's a few Illusive Man lines I remember finding that weren't in the game.  It had a range of number for how many dossiers he had available for you, ranging from 2-6, I think.  Probably from when they were still deciding how to split the game up for the consoles.  Also, there was originally dialogue for, when you ask if you can bring in your old teammates from ME1, the Illusive Man actually was going to immediately put Tali up for recruitment.  This one, I actually put up on my MediaFire page ages ago.

I might have to go back and rip the audio again, see what else I remember finding.  This thread is getting me interested in again in finding easter eggs like this.

Aha. That's interesting then. I guess the game forces you to have at least 4 people alive come the final portion of the mission. I'd love to see the Thane/Grunt line via youtube vid. I'd do it to one of mai games, but I don't has a save file that's close enough for it :(

I think tali has something special to say when you ask Mouse for the Shepard VI( as in, wanting one).

EDIT: Nope, sorry, I was wrong.

Can you update it for the Lair of The Shadow Broker DLC?
