Hi Gatman,
everyone had this problem after downloading the "alternate appearance pack 1" for Garrus, Jack and Thane.
If you have downloaded this pack - you are lucky !
This problem can be fixed in 5 minutes.
Bioware had repaired the dlc.
Delete the download content from your Xbox360
(my xbox / consolesettings / memory / games / Mass Effect 2 / alternate appearance pack 1 / delete)
and download it again (its the new updated version)
as you have already paid for it, its for "free". (you dont have to pay again)
Your problem should be fixed.
I didnt believe it, but it worked fine for me and i never had this problem again.
Hope i could help you !

okay when your disc is really damaged you can get a replacement disc.
The costs may depend on in which country you live. In Germany its for free.
Sent the whole package (disc, manual, case etc) and a short letter whats the problem
and they should send you a replacement disc.
To be on the safe side (about the costs) you can email the EA support on their webside.
