Hey guys,

just downloaded ME on steam and tried to launch it, Windows just told me that it stopped working.

My system:

Windows 7 64 bit
4 Gigs of RAM
Intel Q6600
ATI HD 3870

Drivers are all up to date.

Any suggestions?

Max

The first thing I'd suggest is trying Windows XP compatibility mode and/or giving it administrative rights. IIRC with the Steam version you may need to do this for the Steam client itself as well.

Yeah, I thought of that as well, point is: where is the .exe file of a steam game?

EDIT: Alright, I ran steam with the compatibility mode and it worked just fine. Thanks!

Glad to hear it's working. :) Steam programs are stored underneath Steam's own folder. On XP by default, that's C:\\Program Files\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\ but YMMV with Win 7 or if you chose a custom location.
