First of all I want to apologise in case I put this in the wrong section.

Secondly, my question: I'm planning on changing my Gamertag in the near future, but could this cause any problems with regards to it being linked to my EA/BioWare account?

According to an Ubisoft FAQ I found, all relevant info is simply updated to your Ubi account, but I couldn't find anything about an EA account. My main concerns here are losing all my Mass Effect and Dragon Age related DLC, especially Cerberus Network, and not being able to play any EA game online. My secondary concern is the chance of this messing up my Mass Effect game saves.

Snoteye is correct.  This needs to be done through EA Customer Support.  DLC is tied to your EA account, that is the account you use to log into this website.  Your Xbox gamertag is also tied to your EA account.  Some ME2 DLC is assocaited with gamertags but it will not be lost if you change gamertags through customer support.  When you are talking to EA Customer Support ask them to re-associate your ME2 DLC with your new gamertag.

Now to actually figure out what I should change it to and then I shall contact the Dutch branch of EA Customer Support soon afterwards.
