I just fought the Queen of the Blackmarsh. After the fight I was unable to decend the mountain as the Fade Veil was still in place. I tried reloading the game but the wall was still there.

Now, after checking Dragon Age Wiki, I shoudn't have been able to do the fight to begin with. I explored as much of the map as I could, even finding Kristoff's body, but not clicking on it. While following the clues in The Trail of Love, I added bones back onto the dragon.

According to Wiki's walkthrough I still should have been missing one bone.  After adding my bones and finding the next clue, I was walking back through town looking for the next clue, when I saw the Queen fligh over head. It looked like a busted cutscene. Next thing I knew my characters were teleported from the town to the mountain top to fight the Queen.

It seems that the Lost Dragon Bones quest is bugged and can activate even without gathering all of the dragon bones.
