I?m stumped.

I added a new follower. Made everything for her - she has her levelup table, ther package her AIP_Follower files - the wroks.

When I recruit her, she levels up according to her tabels. All fine and dandy.

BUT, when I set her as a non-party follower (ally) in one battle before you recruit her, she never uses any spells. If I set her package to a generic one, she does use spells.
I cna go around this by assigning her specific spells, but I?m nto sure how it works.

If I use a Generic mage - balanced setup AND add some spells...will the AI use those extra spells? Do the package spells override the ones added directly? Or vice-versa?

Sooo...nobody has any ideas what could be causing this or how to go around it (to make sure the NPC uses the spells I want in a fight)?

well, it should be a case of ensuring she has a custom AIP gda (package) that tells her to use the spells...? but it sounds like you already did that with no luck... so I dont really know what to suggest..
