Oooh, Liara after Kaidan could totally work. But then, would all of ME2 have to be from Kaidan's perspective? Cause the Collector's would be after him instead of Shepard too. While Cerberus would be more interested in Shepard, as the one who succesfully beat Saren/Sovereign, so would they even want to bring him back? Maybe as leverage! Oooh!

It would end up with Shepard and Kaidan on the run together.
And yes... we're going to drive ourselves nuts with this now, dammit. I don't need another Shepard to write!
