That stuff hasn't been announced yet. More info will probably be released sometime next year.

Its quite obvious that the majority of the people in this thread have only see anime like dragon ball z and naratu, there is amazingly well animated anime out there that is aimed at older audiences without the giant eyes and over the top hairstyles, this has the potential to be a very good movie.
I have to admit, I have never been fond anime, but I also admit, I haven't been exposed to anything other than the giant eyes and over the top hairstyles. Could name some artists or films I should see?
Akira
Ghost in the Shell
Blood: The Last Vampire
Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honneamise
Jin-Roh
Sword of the Stranger
Paprika
Perfect Blue
Or any Ghibli film by Miyazaki.

One of my favorite anime/manga, "Beserk", although the anime is pretty old and the manga is ongoing. Its a dark fantasy
Oh, man, I loved Berserk, and I say that as someone who usually despises Anime. I first saw the Anime based on the manga on DVD, then started picking up the manga English translated versions from Dark Horse around 2003. I stopped around Vol. 18 or so...I think its up to Vol. 30 or something like that now...I really need to get caught up on that. Good, gritty, dark, ultra-violent stuff.

WAKE UP PEOPLE!
Not all anime is about being cute, there are a LOT of gritty storytelling. Case in point: Monster, A hard hitting anime with a simple question: "What can turn a man into a monster?"
Of course my rant means Jack-**** it the Animation is wrong, Hopefully it's look like Death Note...or Monster.

Unfunny joke aside. As mentioned before, in case of dead space an animated movie can be a good addition to the franchise and story or in case of halo legends it´s just .... there ... for what ever reason (money of course).
Anime is one of the last things I would come up if I think DA. But it´s your baby. Tread it the way you see fit. You have my permission and love. Now go and spread it and don´t dissapoint us and your moms.

Berserk is my favorite manga/anime. My first character was even made with gutts in mind. I hope bioware has a huge hand in the design/story of the anime, though I don't see why they wouldn't. I hope we get more info soon, first thing I would like to see is the art style, then some hints at the story.

Bioware has shown it's plenty good enough at marketing it's own wares, you should instead be contacting the leading animators in Korea or Japan.

From the time of dubbing dragon ball z (original, they had like 1 studio and a few people and everyone did everyone's lines) to now, they've gotten a lot bigger, and a larger talent pool from which to recruit and use people.
The quality, I dunno, I haven't seen any recent NEW funi releases.
And although some anime hairstyles are ridiculous, some aren't so much- having messy, naturally spiky hair isn't too far-fetched. Just **** on the level of Vegeta is unbelievable.
It seems like a lot of people just decided to drop onto the hate bandwagon for anime.
