what your describing is not even real Anime.   Actual real Anime is one the Most widely sought after and watched Mediums in the world.   It far surpasses the stuff made here in the USA.  

That being said .  Instead of ****ing  like ungrateful spoiled  delinquents, maybe you should try A) being a little opend minded and grateful that they are teaming up with Funimation to do this project instead of some no name unknown lesser rate company.

Like the old addage goes If you don't  have anything Nice to say , then you should say nothing.   No one is going to force you to watch it.

I seriously wonder how many of you complainers out there would truely even know  real anime if you tripped over it?

   FYI... before anyone decides to open mouth without engaging brain first, There a very large number of different types of Anime.   So before spouting off hogwash, try making sure you actual know what your talking about before making squealing fools of yourselves.

I myself am not a big fan of animei I don't see this working at allI myself do beleive that we have a game that would make for epic Movie its too bad that no one else sees that. we have a game with astrong story plot facter in the Romance the dark spawn the arch deamon the templars the mages the chantryanorphan king a croocked general a commoner would be queen two minipulating hedge whitchesand an indistructable goodess in the middleof all the cause and lets not forget the would be assasinm and the clouisted sister want to be while factorying in the qunari and the Alcholc Drawaf and oh ye the witty golem. you have a an epic movie that believeme people will pay to see think about it if they'll pay to see Clow minipulate and chain up people just to have them cut each other with a saw they would pay to see thisbecause this has more substance to it It's epic horoic andpatitrotic all on its ownand no I donot mean any of this in an insulting wayI scicerlly believe this would make for a good epic Movie as good as My favorite Movie Camelotand that movie won an acadomy award when the critics all but gave up on itand its still my favorit to this day and every time I play this game it takes me back to the days of Camelot not Animei

I've seen both good and bad anime. FUNimation has good voice actors and directors, so they have some really good potential. I also hope they take their time. Rush jobs are always bad, no matter what animation style is used. I'm willing to wait for a well made show.

And if you don't like flaming pink hair, watch Graveyard of the Fireflies or one of the other good ones. No pink hair or big swords.

The problem is not the anime itself, but how to adapt a world as big as the one presented in Dragon Age and in to keep the audience interested, also, take account the anime duration.

Take for example, Umineko and and Higurashi, both were a paint in the ass to addapt and fail, since was a very complexed playnovel.. I don´t want to think about the end results of this proyect.

I think the OVA, is more acceptable. One that talks about the origin of the dark stuff and not one of the story directly...

that is my opinion and sorry for my english.. XD

I think the mass effect film will have a good chance of becoming an outstanding film.

Dragon age should be an adult story , not a childrens cartoon , relay dissapointed bioware as animie from what I know is pokemon type of things. If this does become popular and the younger generation takes a liking to it ,

I can see the future of dragon age becoming a nintendo type game. Dont kill dragon age you have something that could do amazing things.
