Back in the day we would have quotation pyramids with outbursts about why Jacob's loyalty mission is racist and we would acuse other posters of being someone else while Gary Busey and Tom Cruise would show up.
Back in the day being a few months ago.

And here we go again with the gorram flame wars, which, at the present, sadly, seem to define this forum.
Doesn't seem like flaming to me. Just discussion. I only use this forum, since it's for the only game I like enough, but reports say that places like the Bungie forum are really bad for flaming. After checking it out, I'd say this forum is pretty civil.
UNLESS YOU WANT TO FIGHT ABOUT IT LOL n00b. Pwned.
So yes. Just discussion. Ahem.
No, I shall just watch for now. And consume popcorn.
Back in the day we would have quotation pyramids with outbursts about why Jacob's loyalty mission is racist and we would acuse other posters of being someone else while Gary Busey and Tom Cruise would show up.
And we had to share the rock! And consarn it, we liked it!

I think that the advance marketing, hype, and accompanying BS of ANY game could be taken apart in much the same way.

These kids joining today don't remember the good ol' days.
Why when we were their age we had that the priiiize thread. All they got now is threads about whether or not it should be possible to have sex with Edi. KIDS THESE DAYS.

This movie is far less ripping on ME2
than ripping on the ridiculous hype and marketing BS accompanying the
game.

I'm still waiting for the emotional story Gears 2 promised me.

Its up there with Saving Private Ryan, Amadeus and Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey in regards to how awe inspiring and emotional it was.

Nothing can get more emotional than executing a random NPC who shows up in a couple of flashbacks, who also looks previously dead, with a big ass gun then wanting to go on a killing spree afterwards.

Yes of course. I just forgot how much I cried when that scene rolled around, in fact I cried so much that I surpressed the memory which is why I forgot. Now I am going to start crying again, I hope you're happy.

Also the FreeBaird achievement tied into directly how emotional Free Bird was.
And Cole Train.
Damn game was a masterpiece of writing.

Carmine is the only character I've found likable in that series so far.
No, that's a dirty dirty lie. Queen Chakwas is somewhat amusing if only because she thinks SKORGE, of all people, is combat-savvy enough to be her lieutenant.
