Its like they were making fun of the fact that Dom had blew off his wife's head with a gigantic pistol right before that. Also seriously, Theron Costumes? roflcoptor

At least the level was decent from a gameplay perspective, much better than the actual trek to Dr. Chakwas's office imo

That guy was a Kanye interrupt before Kanye West himself

"Yo Dom Ima let you finish, but I found out that your wife was here the whole time!"

You have to wonder how dumb the Locust are that they didn't notice two of their own men walking in an erratic pattern for no discernable reason.

I think that the advance marketing, hype, and accompanying BS of ANY game could be taken apart in much the same way.

Of course - anything can be taken apart disingenuously.

The video 'mocks' statements taken out of context, including those made by people who are reviewing the game and had nothing to do with creating it.  And while "Sci vs. Fi" is part of the 'hype' machine, Bioware didn't produce or edit the episode.

But shame, SHAME on Bioware, anyway!

Meh.

Also you'd think that they would be on the lookout for suspicious Locust given the circumstances.

Damn insane Plot Twists

We must move up because others are moving up upon us!

WE SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME

Locust Drones: For the Queen!

Marcus: Yeah guys, for the Queen!

Dom: WHERE'S MY WIIIIIIIFE?????

It would not have made the scene any stranger.

Considering right after that you ride on those large violent flying creatures and that the Queen looked exactly like a Human. I guess your right.

MGS4, Gears 2 I swear that they are spin offs of Xenosaga

I think the moment I lost faith in Marcus/Dom was when they couldn't figure out the robotic sounding person droning at them was an AI, even after seeing digitized images of him.

I don't know what scared me more, that they were that stupid or that players would have been confused as they were over the whole thing.

At least the launch trailer had all in-game cutscenes and CGI, even if the Blur Trailer was full ad-specific CGI.

Practically every game publisher uses ad-specific CGI to market their game. It's false advertising at its finest.

Holy **** I just had that whole scene re-imagined in my head with Bender trying to get Fry to dress up as a Locust to sneak into the Queen's lair.

Sports games are notorious for that. I believe there was a Penny Arcade comic done about the subject.

I watched it for the first time last week. That High Dragon must have had a series of bad rolls.

I love how NONE of Dragon Age's major trailers showed anything resembling gameplay.

Well lets see, on a trailer battle who was their major competition?

Oh yeah, Naughty Dog with Uncharted 2.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhh

Still a dirty job those trailers.  Yes, quite dirty.

Also they got the faces wrong.

They should have just shown the game as a FPS with guns and techno dragons and such. Just to **** with people.

Now that would be the greatest thing ever. Sounds like a mod for Quake if you ask me.
