I have a steam version of ME1, and had a crash recently so I had to re-install the game. However, when I tried to load a saved game, it said it was missing the "Bring Down the Sky" module.

Maybe I looked in the wron g places, but I couldn't find it in my backed-up files.

When I when to the page to download "Bring Down the Sky" again, it stopped downloading after I entered the CD-keys.

Any suggestions - where to look for the DLC in my files, for example - or should I get in touch with Customer Support?

Thanks.

You shouldn't have to enter a key to download it, it's only necessary for installation. Did you check Kepha's stickied thread at the top of this forum? I just checked that link (http://masseffect.bi...nthesky_pc.html) and I was able to initiate the download for the English version.

Yeah, I checked Kepha's very good thread before I posted the question, but the solution wasn't there.

I'll try downloading again. Maybe I did something wrong in the steps.

Sorry, didn't see your post in that thread.

Keep in mind the download is a distinct step from getting your key. It sounds like the old Bioware account/forum system might be giving you a link on another page after going through the steps to get your BDTS key? And that certainly may be broken, I haven't tried getting a key since I already have mine. But the download right on the linked page should work.

Well, I've tried again, and the installer asks for the key but whenever I enter the "Bring Down the Sky" CD-Key in the the installer, it cancels the installation. That's been the same problem I keep having.

I'm going to verify the game cache, then try again, see if that makes any difference.

Ah, so the download goes fine, it's the installer that's the problem.

Check out Zesban's thread. You can try skipping steps 3-10 to start with and simply doing the trick killing the process. If that doesn't work, you'll want to try the registry edit (I believe Zesban wrote a program to help with that if you want).

Thanks for the tip. I'll try that bit later. Verifying the cache hasn't helped.
