I fight the battle all the time with S&S and it takes less than a minute.  I have an occassional battle where that doesn't work out, but I'd say >90% of the time, it's over super quick.

The result is always the same, but with my rogue PCs, I feel sorry for Loghain.  He's lucky if he gets even a single hit in.  With Alistair and especially at S&S, I have to spam potions and it just seems to take forever.  Loghain can hit so hard, the fight is a lot harder if he ever gets a hit in.

A 2H and S&S will have the advantage of not being knocked down.  My rogue has to get in quick and keep Loghain stunned or rooted to prevent that.

Mages have an easy time, just lock him down and unload on him. Then run around waiting for a recharge! Looks a little silly put loghain chased one of my mages all over the room for a good ten minutes. Thats one way to win the landsmeet I guess.



I am happy with this latest build since I am very close to getting the last two unkilled metals.

Speaking of which, it's kind of ridiculous beating Loghain with blood magic in front of everyone, including the reverred mother whose vote you just earned.

But oh so funny KoP! I doubt they wanted to penalize players overmuch for doing that. Although Wynne outing me as a BM pissed me off a bit. I dont really see the problem with it since my Mage limited himself to only using it on himself or enemies never an other person.

Loghain didnt even last a minute against any DW or rouge charachter. However he somehow lasted longer than any things short of a boss against my 2H. I wished I could have speced into reaver but templar is awsome especially with holy smite.
