2. Heck yes.
3. Why the heck not? (But very unlikely, probably will be at next years E3.)

If what they're saying about the 3DS having similar processing power to PS3/360 is true, then I'd like to see it appear on that.

E3 is only a week away now, and I'm hoping for some exciting announcements regarding the Mass Effect series. Any of the following would be great for me...

2.) Liara Shadow Broker Expansion Pack (Not just a simple DLC Mission, but a whole expansion like Awakening)

News on the movie that does make me facepalm.
Gee, and I thought my wish for a PS3 Port was out there...
Sadly, the inherent problem with video game movies is that the director is never a fan of the series, and more often than not, has never watched so much as a trailer for the game.
So until the day comes that a movie is made that's based off a game that the director has actually played and is a fan of, there's no hope of their ever being a decent video game movie...
Lets take a moment to reflect on all the past failed video game movies, shall we?

1. Heck no
Why not? Wouldn't be your loss.
I'd love to hear about a major expansion, but going from the recent DLC news, I guess it might not be likely (several smaller packs vs. a big one).
The imminent release of Overlord might be neat.

Also, ME3 is way too early in its development cycle. If you look at the time span between ME1 and ME2, then we're probably not going to get it until Winter 2011 to Summer of 2012.

Seriously though, piecemeal DLC is neat and all, but it's not really enough to sink your teeth into and get a genuinely enjoyable, memorable experience. An expansion that adds a solid ten hours onto the game (let's say played on veteran if it takes 20-25 hours to do everything) would be fantastic.

Yes.
That would be a truly epic announcement for E3.

I'd like to see a detailed DLC schedule/plan for Mass Effect 2 to know if there is more content coming after or in between Overlord and the likely Shadow Broker. Show me the future DLC sooner than later and I'll keep ME2 on my mind.

Okay, but leave out the convoluted inventory system.
Tedium & pointless micro management =/= RPG Elements

Indeed they were all dogs (are dogs) BUT many of them were produced by crappy directors who simply push out hamburger as fast as they can to make a quick buck. If you get the right director (ala Jackson for LoTRs) AND the full input of the developers (who I SERIOUSLY doubt want to see their game franchise totally cornholed by a crap movie) then ME movies COULD be a modern Star Wars setup. Multiple movies (ME1, 2, 3) and even prequals to follow on.

I think that Liara's involvement with the Shadow Broker would be too centric to the plot of ME3 to put into DLC or an expansion. She's a romantic interest, after all, I think they'd probably save that for the actual sequel.

I DO want them to take whatever time it takes to make ME3 epic, solid, and strong. I do NOT want a rush for the store just to rake in a fast buck. ME3 needs to be truly great so Bioware...take your time and do your magic.
