No thank you.

Id much rather that they concentrate on creating excellent single player RPG's like they always have.

good possibility. They story and lore is pretty solid.

remember Warcraft wasnt always an MMO

I wouldnt be suprised, or dissapointed if they did.

could be why they specifically left out MP in this one....who knows.

Not me, would much rather this stay the way it is and keep going with expansions and DLC.

I hate MMORPG players.... Not everything needs to be online. RPG's are about story as much as gameplay so no thank you. The most I can see is a co-op mode for like two people over that it would be horrid.

Bioware is already making SWTOR (which looks amazing imo).

There is no need for them to make another MMO.

Every time a company tries to make a MMORPG out of their single player RPG title, the single player content dissapears entirely or looses value. Let's see if Blizzard can pull of both, but if they do that's 'cause their Blizzard (the number one video game corporation in the world [based on revenue, sales, and return], mind you. And that isn't an opinion.)

If you're saying that the setting as potential for an MMO, then yeah, I can see that. I do agree that some of the epicness in the story would be lost in the translation though. The person to person stuff, where your character is the center of the story would certainly be lost...imagine how lame any of the origins would be if 9,000 other people you run into had the same origin? Plus, people would inevitably identify the "most broken" (i.e. best stuff available) origin (probably human Noble?) and start looking for exploits.

Exploiting in a single player game is retarded; you aren't really cheating anyone but yourself. Exploits in an MMO are a huge problem though. Likewise, the combat system would have to be totally re-done. Not likely to happen anytime soon, but if the IP gets popular enough (they have books and a tabletop RPG on the way) I could see it happening within the next 5 years or so.

The worst thing about MMO's are the other players. All the good (and more), well that's in DAO currently so why change it?

It'd be an OK turn based multiplayer RPG, but the combat system isn't made for MMO. To make it an MMO would be to remove everything that makes it good.

This. MMO wise I would rather Bioware focus on SWTOR than making SWTOR and a Dragon Age MMO.

As a MMO gamer I think it would be a great setting and world but I am rather enjoying the fact it is not an MMO. To be honest the communities that appear in a lot of MMO's these days would probably ruin the setting for me. It is refreshing to take this break from them and enjoy this game. I would wait and see how Star Wars the Old Republic does as a MMO as it sounds like it would be story centered like Bioware's games usually are. But for now...I'm enjoying things how they are.

Yes, and then they didn't release new titles for years. 1996 Diablo came out. 1998 Stracraft and Broodwar came out. 2000 Diablo II came out, and year later its expansion. 2004 WoW came out. 2010 SCII is expected to come out. That's six years of nothing but WoW, where they totally gave up on single player. Look at the time between their games before that.

not integrating into this game silly....

we mean; basing one on the lore, environmet, and storylines of Fereldan and surrounding areas.

a different entity altogether.

I personally would like this universe over warcrafts, Eq or lotr's.....

who knows....depends on sales I guess....

WoW spawned off of the success of warcraft...and the notice of how EQ was catching on worldwide.......

 we'll see Iguess.

No thanks, do you really want to go from the heroic Grey Warden that saves Ferelden from the blight to random douche who has to go gather 5 rat tails in a group with Pwnrdude and Roflman
