Hello, i downloaded recently a custom weapon addon (a mage staff, to be more precise). It installs from a dazip.
The problem is it doesn't have English localisation, only Russian.
I browsed the installed content, and it's missing the English .TLK file; can someone please tell me how to fix this localisation issue ? Thank you.

if you are not able to speak russian or don't know anyone capable of then you're simply lost. anyway you can drag 'n drop the tlk into the toolset and edit it. there you can rewrite the content. after this you just have to change the name suffix to modulename_en-us.tlk

Thanks a lot; that's all i needed. It doesn't matter if i translate correctly, because the main problem was the russian TLK file made the item appear in game with gibberish as description and item name. I don't speak russian, btw, but i know the russian alphabet, learned it for fun. Again, thanks a lot.
Later edit : for some reason, after editing the TLK file (which went well), the weapon icon disappears in game; now it's just blank. Any ideas ?

that should not happen. i never run into this kind of problem - you're sure that you didn't change an entry id?

Absolutely. I only dragged and dropped the TLK file inside the toolset, edited the two strings, weapon name and weapon description, then saved. Renamed it to en_us,and that was all.
I managed to fix the problem though; i opened the mod ERF file, and looked with a common text editor inside the UIF file; the referenced icon for the weapon, a DDS, was a file name that wasn't in the ERF. So i extracted the icon DDS from the ERF, renamed it to what i saw inside the UIF then inserted it back in the ERF, Saved, and it works. Really weird though, because the russian version worked fine by default.
