Hello everyone ,in advance sorry if my english is bad :-)

I installed the toolset (yes with all the non-autorisations and permissions and sql studio manager badadi badada problems everyone knows) .

I followed the weiriKK tutorial to begin using the toolset .i succeeded creating some weapons, armors etc, when i log in the game everything works fine .

I wanted to share my first creations with a friend and so selected the builder to player package ,the good manifest and it created a beautiful little dazip .

The problem is that when my friend install the dazip ,nothing is in the game .

I tried to install this dazip too and all my work is gone in the game .I just have nothing in my inventory except the normal items .

I tried reinstall the dazip and all and still don't find an issue .

In my friend's downloaded content ,my module don't even appears anymore .

After spending the last hours searching for a solution on the web ,i finally decided to came here to see if you could help me .

Would you please shows to me a method to create working dazips please ?or if you saw something wrong in what i said ,just tell what i done wrong ,i follow to the letter the weiriKK tuto Posted Image

So my question is how do modders on nexus or anywhere else to share their mods with good dazips ,because their ones actually works really fine .

Thank you in advance and good evening !!

Quentin .

it's explained at the wiki.
there's also written that art ressources won't be packed into your dazip. you have to manually open the dazip with another zip program like winrar and drag'n drop those files with appropriate folders into your zip file.

before creating a builder 2 player package it helps to check in your ressources.

Ok ,i must be that i'm not a pro in english so i'm a little lost with those explanaitions ^^
So first
i open my module in toolset ,i export everything without dependant ressources
I export module xml and manifest xml

i click on builder to player package
i choose my xml manifest
i have the tree view of things . I select from "addins"  to the end :

i click ok and say where i want the dazip be created

i save the user manifest and then it 's created .

But now .....

I managed to open the dazip with IZARC  and i don't know what to do now .What files i'm supposed to put in ?

I managed to open the dazip with an archiver and then i think i have to put the files which are in mydocuments\\bioware\\dragonage\\addins\\mymodule (there is only core and module ) in the archive ?

But then i need to get this zip back to dazip ,how do i do this ?

I'm wrong or something ?

art ressources are new models, textures, custom 2da and so. i don't think you've got something like this. if you only created a new custom item within the toolset than it's enough to build a b2p package.

you have to describe in detail what you're trying to accomplish ;)

Okay ,

I made several items like weapons .

I want to transform my module into a installable dazip .

I can go till the moment when i got a dazip of my mod .

Then i think :

I extract the dazip with winrar or 7 zip .

I add what i found in mydocuments\\bioware\\dragonage\\addins\\"my module" to the new folder i made ( by decompressing with 7zip)

then i recompress the folder with 7zip

then i change ".7zip" to ".dazip"

but neither daupdater or damodder recognize this thing .

Chibievil finally explained to me and i managed to success ,thanks to him .

The thing who went wrong is that when i was creating the builder to player package , i didn't include the files i had exported without dependancies in it ..

So simple ...

Have a nice day !

you don't have to extract your files.... if so you just open it with an extractor and drag'n drop your files inside without extracting them.

in your case you don't have to add files to your dazip because you are not using completely new stuff!

you just have to export your new items without resources and build a b2p package. you also have to write a script which places the items inside the player's inventory.
