Can you keep them both in your party right through to the end? I read somewhere that they will eventually have a "it's her or me" moment, but I don't know if there's any truth to that?

They go after each other verbally constantly, but never move past that.

What Swoo said. Actually their dialogue is pretty intense and worth having them together every now and then. I had a playthrough where I finished the game with them.

There is no truth to that.

I have read that there will be an initial confrontation in the Tower if you side against the mages. But after that, it is just the usual heated words. I am informed they may actually work togethwer to free the Warden from prison at some point, too.

The OP might be referring to cut content -- Wynne's dropped scene where she goes bat****e if you or anyone else are Blood Mages

Yep got that Dialouge, Wynne is not happy if Morrigan or you are a blood mage, but only at the end of Broken Cirlce will she be unhappy. Get the Dialouge Fix mod and it cleans up a lot of nitpicks in the dialouge.

Wynne and Morrigan can be yours to the end of the game. The only times that they will leave is if you ask them to or do some things that trigger hostility and disapproval. When you do the Broken Circle quest and side with the templars by agreeing to kill all the mages she will fight you and you have to kill her. Morrigan can also leave before the Battle of Denerim if you reject her offer to escape the death of killing the Archdemon. Other than than they will be with you all the way.

There is a mod on the Morrigan thread, showing a restored scene where you can betray morrigan to the templars at the tower.

Now THAT is definately a vote for getting the PC version!

Unless you want Wynne to spaz on you or Morri, its not pretty. Still all my mages are Arcane Warrior/Spirit Healers.

You can rat out Morrigan? Oh man, I've been wanting to do that since I first went to the Chantry in Lothering :-)

LOL, I bet Wynne and Morrigan have plenty of nasty arguments. If there was a "me or her"moment, I would pick Wynne every time. I hate Morrigan with a passion. The only reason I keep her in the party is for the dark ritual ending....if I decide to use it.

Ugh, I would pick the Archdemon over Wynne.

Wynne: Blah, blah, blah, this is how I think everything should be!

Warden: Shut up and just sit at camp.

I only take Wynne over Morrigan since I am way to used to a support mage, I suck at using an Mage offensivly. My only one was a AW so he played more like a tank than a true mage.

Ironic - my hatred of Wynne aside - I much prefer using my mage offensively. So it's Morrigan all the way.

You can keep Morrigan and Wynne easily. Simply don't ****** either of them off, and agree to do Morrigan's ritual, and you'll be set.

Personally, I prefer Morrigan, as I prefer to have everyone in my party dealing damage. Even if it's only mediocre damage (glares pointedly at Leliana).

I had Wynne through to the bitter end and never used Morrigan; I don't care much for Mages except when I can use them effectively as healers. Although her outrageous flirting with Alistair in Ostagar almost landed her a kick in the teeth.

But her teeth were expensive! Finest dwarven work! Sorry, i like to make jokes about Wynne age. And i like her for not being to pissed about it.
I'm lucky there is no situation where you have to choose between the two. I would choose Wynne, but i also would miss Morrigan ... somewhat.

As probably the most verbal anti Morrigan fan here tell me more, i have been as of late just dumping her ass in Lotharin but to get another opportunity to ****** the high and mighty overrated Morrigan off in yet another way goodie goodie.

I believe Wynne was added to make the elderly BG1 players feel at home. Wynne has something sensible to say most of the time. The rest just use insults or sarcasm. A good idea would have been for Bioware to implement a 4 way party argument from time to time, possibly leading to a friendly duel to settle the argument. Now that would be fun. Last man standing wins a loaf of bread.

I don't think you all will enjoy it that much. She kicks the hell out of an entire squad of Templars like they were nothing, and the dialogue is pretty tight too. It probably loses something when you try to punk her and she punks you and an entire room full of knights and mages at the same time.

If you want them both, just don't have Morrigan with you when you enter the Mage's Tower.

Yes, that was another fiasco Morrigan got me into. She started an argument in the tower which erupted into a brawl with my party. In the end my character beheaded Wynne and then I was plotting a way to get Morrigan killed for starting the whole mess.
