Tali's not a lesbian, if she was one then in ME2 if you were a female then you could romance her, but she's not so there end of discussion.

I dont really care either way if they changed Tali, but I will say that I thought the linking suite line was extremely flirty.



You can complain all you want about how if it does not lead to romance its not flirting, but there is a horde of femShep players seething at how femShep is forced to talk to Jacob in non romantic dialog, its not all of their imagination, and neither was the suit linking comment.



At the very least blame bioware for bad writing with that dialog accusing them of keeping it flirty for femShep when it should not have been, but at least it was the npc who was being flirty and they where not yet again forcing femShep in a direction against player wishes.

Mind you, only after you've denied every other answer with something akin to "That's, like, just your opinion, man." and then presenting your own opinion as sound proof.
But that's just, like, your opinion, man.

And if I'm not mistaken, there is femShep dialogue recorded for the Tali romance, but it was cut. Which made some fans question why it was cut and some felt like they were deliberately mistreated as fans.

I can't say I can represent everyone, but this is the conclusion I've come to since I joined these forums and I personally think that it is justified behavior. They're just asking for something to be added to make their gaming experience a little bit richer and they feel like Bioware dangled it in front of their noses and then hid it away.
Of course they can ask for it. Why it's so bothersome is beyond me.

Haa haa, good point.

I do know of FemShep players who got the flirty vibe from Tali and weren't even looking for or hoping for a romance with her, including myself.  I don't think it's just wishful thinking on the part of those that wanted a FemShep/Tali romance.

no one has any evidence which is exactly why i called  all the previous answers opinions
all i did was point out how it was actually an opinion rather than irrifutable proof 
and honestly the only irrifutable proof that Tali is Bi is if she actually romanced f sheps and i hope to god that never happens
but in  fiction irrifutable proof can simply be that it doesnt happen theirs your proof
that is in no way evidence for a real person of course but Tali isnt real
shes a bunch of ones and zeros and a disembodied voice
thus any truth given to us about her from bioware is THE ONLY thing true about her
this shouldnt be subject to change really that just leads to plot holes

plus sometimes the fans can go **** themselvess sure they had good ideas ...sort of but this isnt one of them

i think you shouldnt change for your fans leave this up to the professionals
the only exception is if something generally needs changing if there is a TRUE problem with what is established
not when everyone gets mad because voiceacting made a lazy move and made Tali Almost-kind-sorta-maybe imply that she was Bisexual

I noticed the same thing in the ME movie discussion. movie Shepard better follow all MY choices otherwise the whole franchise is spoiled for me! never mind what others who had different preferences wanted.

its the fact that they bailed that is proof to the contrary
they created Mass Effect they are the Gods we are just the players
if they say she isnt bisexual you believe it because their's is the only truth to that game

gods dont tell US what to do so how could we be obidient to a master who doesnt directly speak to us

playing the game and trying to lesbian romance tali is akin to defying gravity
sure you could technically change the rules with mods or hacking and they could change that for the third game but thats their decision not ours
it will never be ours and that is why i compared them to gods

People believe they can influence BW's future decisions by posting on the forums, though, which is why you see threads and stuff asking for s/s romances with Tali and others.

I don's see the harm in this, except that it's annoying ot some.  I tend to just ignore threads that are annoying, but that's just me I guess.

it actually works sometimes
the fact that Tali can be romanced at all is a testimont to that (garrus even more so)
that is also the reason i keep trying to defend my own point instead of not caring

I believe that Tali, along with other Quarians, are very shy and odd about starting relationships with other species due to their insecurities (unable to truly see them face to face, see what they're REALLY like). You can't physically get in contact...Without some dangers and possibility of death lingering.

Plus, it seems that male/female relationships are the EXTREME stiff standard in Quarian culture...So I highly doubt that a lesbian relationship, as deemed possible by BioWare through content in ME3, will occur. Well, it doesn't seem likely but...Make a loud annoying noise enough and you'll probably get what you want...Or get socked in the nose =(

Personally I think Tali is mostly straight but also that she would be willing to give women a try. She has a wonderful sense of curiosity about people and places that which I think would make the idea interesting to her. At the very least I think she would consider an offer by femShep very carefully and probably agree to seeing how it goes.



In general she seems a bit touchy on the subject of sex due to her immune system and so on. I think it would be more likely she would end up in a very close relationship with a woman of a non sexual nature but who knows.
