My Avira virus check picks up the patch as containing a virus:

TR/Crypt.ZPACK.Gen2

Any clues on why this is?

There are several threads about it. Seems to be a false positive alarm from Avira.

On my computer NOD32 detected nothing suspicious in the patch file.

Avira can be quite annoying with the heuristics, I would advise just turning it off myself. Lots of false positives.
