Doesn't the Viper take down shields the fastest still? Or no?
Dunno, but I don't think difference will be great. I love Viper - only like Claymore better. But this changed with the new dlc. Mattocks is awesome, effective at short; medium and longe range. Viper is a pain up close and the zoom is annoying. Gonna record some stuff with both weapons to see how they compare.

Asari Shepard investigates what lies beneath those beautiful blue Asari faces and what she discovers is a world full of brutal violence, sexual intimidation, drugs, deception and betrayal. Just the way Asari Shepard likes it.
This is an Asari only vid, no other species allowed
Sniper rifles (Viper) can be used quite effective by an Adept though the zoom effect is nasty (only when you aim/zoom (RMB) or when behind cover - if you're standing in the open; you can use biotic powers normally)

I kind of liked the editing and with the right tools it ain't that hard. Used ME2 Audio Extractor for the music and somehow the music of Samara's mission fitted quite well. Couldn't decide what to do with the action part, never really liked the music I tried. But then I was playing the Overlord mission again; totally forgotten how good that music is!
I recorded the conversations on loyalty mission with fraps (no SFX and music) and cut away Shep's questions - save as WAV and there you go.

Loved it... my kind of adept (except I modded in a scimitar and I'm using the mattock). And yay for some Morinth love... she doesn't get enough and her dominate power is really fun to mess around with.
Thx, I like Morinth a lot though Samara has more killing power. But Morinth is fun having around and Dominate is a really cool power, whenever I'm looking for some fun I bring her along (love it that the rest of the team hasn't got a clue their Asari Justicar is replaced by the fugitive she was looking for in the first place.

Thx, never really got into the video editing business before, but it adds something to the videos when adding cool music and I loved the way Samara talks about the Ardat-Yakshi, had to put that in the vid without loosing the momentum.

Yah, cool video. While I've developed a greater respect for the Claymore in the Adept, I'm still on the fence
which is better for my Mattock Adept - Scimitar or Claymore. I guess it depends what you use it for.
I think Mattock is the ultimate bonus weapon for Adept (without modding) - I only run out of ammo pretty fast, but Locust and Phalanx (great HP btw) help out. Still like SG best on Adept, GPS is really nice, but I don't like the sound (prefer the noise of the Claymore).
Mattock sounds great too, like a drilling machine - punching holes in enemy defenses; and getting things ready to be warped into oblivion

A communication array has to be disabled before the new and improved rogue VI uses it to infect electronic systems all across the galaxy. Sounds like a job for the Gethwomen (Shepard, Miranda and Kasumi). They only had to pull the plug and be done with it, but wise Asari Shepard figured someone might think of putting the plug back in - so the Gethwomen decided to go in hard and destroy the transmission disk completely - just to be sure.
[edit] new upload - without nice 'Dark Knight' music - replaced it with Overlord soundtrack.

In the unused audio files they know it is her... like when she goes down during a fight your other squadmates say her name.... "Morinth".

Never knew this, must pay a little more attention next time fighting along side Morinth
I got screwed by the damn DRM crap, those lousy entertainment companies should focus on making good movies instead of messing with people on YouTube. I still dont understand why the original vid is blocked, I checked YouTube and there are dozens of vids using same music I did. Why can they use it and I can't? Beats me.
It's a shame really, I used the Dark Knight soundtrack and it fitted beautifully only this time it wasn't about Batman, but the Gethwomen were on the march
Had to recode entire vid (using Overlord music instead to be sure no more drm issues this time) uploaded it again:
Asari Commando Shepard - Project Overlord
Enjoy

They don't say it in the game as it is now. These are in the files that weren't used in the game but are still on the disk. The files that they decided not to use.

Do you know if it's possible to use this filer ingame? Would be very nice.

Asari Commando Shepard - Helping Miranda
Triple Asari vs Tela Vasir
I'm also adding other cool or interesting Adept videos to the OP (Arhka's and MJvasNormandy's added), if anyone has any suggestions or knows about some nice Adept vids, please post a link or PM me, thanks.

I see all these new weapons and armors that have been released, do they help with the defensive take-downs and allow you to actually use biotics?

You CAN Warp spam through the game, but the way I'm playing it now is with a 100% biotic squad and setting up Warp bombs as much as possible. One trick that works very well is to cast Singularity on someone standing in a group. Either wait for their defenses to be drained or do what I do and shoot them for a second with the Locust before casting Warp.
It's a lot more interesting than Warp spam, that's for sure!
Another new trick for the adept is simply to use Stasis. Well it's not strictly an adept trick, but it helps quite a bit.

Is there any new tips for adepts? I played through once on insanity on my adept but it seemed to me that it was essentially warp-spam, makes me sad that all the shields/armor/barriers and such make lift/throw worthless.
Termokanden mentioned it already;

Best thing about playing Adepts is setting up powerful combos. Give your squad selection some thought before each mission and respec when needed. There are lots of ways to play the Adept class, but to be effective you'll need to use all available means to work in synergy. Make use of your (heavy) weapons; squadmate's and Adept's powers:
For exaple; fire a Singularity into a group of enemies > use guns and/or squadmate powers to strip defenses > warp ragdolled enemies and you pretty much won the fight. The available options are squadmate depended so pick them with care. One of my favorite combos is to use Singularity on a couple of closely packed enemies > remove shields using Miranda/Garrus/Kasumi's (Area) Overload to remove their shields > freeze them using Mordin's Cryo Blast > smash the poor froozen bastards against walls using Throw Field to shatter them or warp detonate them into oblivion. Easy and fun.
I only use Warp to detonate warp explosions and sometimes against powerful enemies - I never spam Warp.

Locust is perfect weapon for Adept and you can get it right at the start, very effective against defenses, lots of ammo, accurate - deadly. Armor isn't going to make much of a difference, just wear whatever you think looks cool. If you're looking for extra survivability take Barrier as bonus power (just take a look at some of my vids to see what Adepts can do with Heavy Barrier - Adepts can fight like Vanguards (Sentinels) and shotgun everything at point blank range); ED works twofold; it increases Shep's shield and it drains enemy shields as well - very effective against Geth and missions facing lots of shielded enemies. Stasis is awesome CC, combined with Singularity you can disable multiple powerful enemies with relative ease.
Just try different squadies and combos to see what works best for you - more fun, more effective and more Adept

I do not need barrier, because I use my squadmates to catch most of the fire. When they get too much damage, I come out of cover and thus draw fire on me, for a short time.
