I am trying to edit existing FMOD files, which is made very difficult by not having the FMOD Designer files (FDPs). I do not need the wavs, I only need the FDP files so that I can make alterations and rebuild the fev file rather than recreating the FDP by hand and/or hex editing in some complicated fashion to alter the fev.

I'd really appreciate if these could be released and hosted together with the shares made at http://social.biowar...ect/1331/#files

Please respond either way to say whether or not the files will be released. Many thanks for your continued support.

EDIT: bryan has uploaded the files at the link above. cheers guys!

This would be very helpful to have. Been trying to reconstruct the music.fev from the events in FMOD to make additions to the music list.

Shamelessly bumping that request.
The one time I wanted to alter a FEV, having to recreate the FMOD project/designer file from scratch was such a pain I actually did some hex-editing instead. Which kinda beats the purpose of having FMOD at hand... :?

Seconding this. The music is probably the most opaque part of the Toolset at the moment, having the source files would be very helpful.

Also bumping this request, I'd certainly appreciate being able to access the FMOD files as well.

looks like several people would benefit from these files... particularly those relating to music... any word from someone at bioware please?

The file doesn't seem to include the core fdps, only the single player ones... I've sent Bryan and Craig a PM about this.

Still, lovely that we're still seeing releases of this sort of stuff.

These are very nice, and thank you very much. But honestly, I was hoping to see Music ( builds music_strm_death.fsb, music_strm_new.fsb, and music_notstream_sting.fsb) and the #duck's. Those are really needed for any kind of new mod music.

Rebuilding the music.fev into a working FDP has been... frustrating, not knowing what parameters, templates, etc., were used. So any help with those would be much appreciated. And thank you again for the current release. I dont want to sound unappreciative.

Muchas gracias. These will come in handy; I've wanted to replace a few music tracks ever since I first finished the game.

please can anyone who finds success with changing music confirm the wav specification they used? thanks.

I believe it's WAW - PCM, 24 to 48 kHz, 16 bit, Stereo.

Also, make sure you're using an older version of FMOD (the one supplied with the toolset), or it won't work.
